The high-priced monthly protection plan is not worth it since they removed mounting and installation from this program. No notification was ever provided that they removed services while keeping the same cost.

I don't like that you get this protection plan automatically on every product you purchase after you become a geek squad member. If you want an extended plan that lasts longer than 24 month you have to go to the store, cancel this one and purchase the longer one. No option to do it online! Best Buy should be able to give you the option to cancel it online if you prefer to purchase a better/longer plan. You get the 24 month with most 1-year warranties if you purchase the products with your credit card, which extends the warranty for another year.

Alway good to have protection on all your units just in case the get messed up

I usually buy the 4 year extended warranty at additional cost because everything in our house only breaks in year 3 and 4! Nothing breaks in the 1st or 2nd year.... lol

Not worth the $179 a year charge. Just to save the same amount on purchases. Also when trying to file a claim it was going to be $90 for them to come out and then quote repair.

Just what we needed. These plans have saved us a bunch of times in the past.

I love love it, easy to use, even my 2 year old granddau is able to use it.
