Been a BestBuy fan for a LONG LONG time, and get a good-humored ribbing from the staff EVERYtime my ORIGINAL BestBuy buyers card comes out of my wallet... the Buyers Protection has SAVED me money in both purchases AND upgrades for my desktop computers/laptop computers! YES, it's $200 a year... BUT an EXCELLENT value for ALL my tech toys!

Best insurance policy for all your appliances even if you don’t buy your appliances all at the same time your insurance still covers it

We purchased this microwave to replace one that has been in use over 20 years now. The reason for this particular microwave is that all of our appliances are the GE Profile line and we needed the microwave to fit into the built in space where the old one was. Right out of the box, the button to open the door did not work. Even after exercising it many times, it did not make any difference. My husband ultimately put in small bumper pads at the top of the door which allowed the mechanism to operate. A second item of note is that the pre-programmed buttons don't seem to work very well. The popcorn setting in particular doesn't sense the steam and burns the popcorn. Our complaint is simple... why change from the old design, when it just worked? We changed out as many parts as we could to keep our old one going and at some point the parts were outpricing a new model but it's disappointing that the new model is not as good as the old. We still have a short window in which to decide if it needs to go back, so we will be making a decision soon.

I have the total geek membership but this just gives that extra protection. I like having the protection because I have had to use it alot over the years and I am relaxed knowing I have that protection.

The membership is an annual fee so I have time to save money & I worry less with knowing Best Buy has my back when covering my electronics. So glad I decided to go with it!

I have protection on mine, a good choice. Good for game play. The color is high definition.

The total tech (not sure what they call it now) has been very useful! They send out a tech agent right away if you appliance or electronic device is having issues. I was also able to exchange my very expensive espresso machine.

Set your mind at rest with this protection. The customer service that supports this plan is excellent.

The price is stiff, but i consider it a bargain for anyone who makes a lot of purchases. I capitalize off of it, using free intallations, free deliveries, and of course it is great to have the option to trade in or return my tech, up to 60 days out. Most recently, I was able to return a tv which reveled software issues a month later, long after a typical return policy period.

I love having the comfort of knowing if one of my appliances or Electronic devices have the security of 24 months of protection after the purchase. Having the protection plan just brings ease of mind and if something goes wrong, my investment will be protected.

The 24 month protection plan that you get if you are a total tech member is excellent, The plan includes accidental damage, depending on the device, The plan is every bit as good as plans you pay $$$$ for! I really would like the option to extend it to a 5 year plan at a reasonable fee!!!

the best plan ever to come from best buy. this has saved me so much money already from getting my 8k tv worked on, to changing out SSD on 2 of my laptops- all for free under this paid plan... ive switched to buying everything electronic at BB now as anything i buy gets covered automatically - exceptional

Honestly they should change there name from total protect to extended warranty. It doesnt cover everything total. They separated everything. From accidental damage and tech support. Best buy total protection is basicly just a membership with some better perks like 60 days return and 2 day shipping etc stuff like that. Not actually 100% protection. So read carefully what you're buying.

Always great customer service whenever we have to use geek squad or just get phone support.
