Great experience with Best Buy this far couldn’t of been better

When I purchased my computer, I added this protection in case one of my kids would accidentally break my computer or if it just stops working. Since I had purchased the new MacBook Pro 13, I needed to be sure that I was protecting my investment.

The Best Buy total tech is worth every penny it covers a lot of the items you purchases at the store. It’s worth price. You get the 60days return plus so much more. plus geek squad were you take back the item and they will any device at no cost. I highly recommend it to anyone.

It works great and easy to setup small enough and doesn’t take too much room

Like the added mental comfort of some of the items in the program however I'm a Samsung Andriod user and would like to see a la-carte where I can replace Apple protection for something I can use like free TV mount installation.

Have only used the protection plan twice over the years, but was easy and haggling over what and what was not covered.

The protection plan used to be fantastic—so much so that it was a major factor in where I bought my electronics. I’ve been subscribed for years, confident that if something went wrong, I’d be taken care of. Recently, my work laptop developed an issue, and Best Buy refused to honor the plan I originally purchased. Instead, I was told about a new version of the plan—one that now includes a “service fee” and far less coverage. On top of that, I’ve been without my laptop, which is vital for my job, for weeks. The plan has gone from a great value to sub-par at best. Add in the fact that you no longer earn Best Buy points unless you use their credit card, and the customer value has dropped even further. As soon as I get my laptop back, I’ll be canceling my protection plan—and I won’t be shopping at Best Buy again. This feels like a classic bait-and-switch, and while my business may not hurt Best Buy, refusing to support them is the only recourse I have.

Total tech is awesome and save me money!! Would definitely recommend it to others.

Keeping my items, safe and secure with this protection is better than not having protection. The protection plan keeps my items safe and if anything happens, I have my protection plan in order to replace any or all items.

So far as a Best Buy Total member I’ve enjoyed savings on purchased items, however the extended warranty out to 24 months is a great feature. On certain products I usually purchase the extended coverage which would increase the price above what I pay for Total.
