It is always a good idea to carry a protection plan just in case the unexpected happens. If you are wealthy maybe you can afford the unexpected. I would rather be prepared.

had to buy a new 10,000 BTU window AC cause my old one quit working - I don't like new appliances cause it seems they don't work as long and extended warranty can get expensive, I'm a Total Tech member so I get 24 month with it at no extra cost

If I have an issue or problem, the store tech people are there to help (and fix, if necessary) what is wrong. Like any insurance policy (which this basically is), the program provides a lot of "peace of mind".

Worth every penny. Bought a 65” oled don’t know how but the screen cracked about a year after owning it. Called them. They sent someone over to look at it. Had a new one in five days.

Very happy to have protection on items that are as big as the tv we got.

I highly recommend getting a protection plan on your electronics, every once in a while an item will come with a defect from the manufacturer.

Protection plan better than the plans at furniture stores who gave me the run around…with Best Buy I returned defective product and was given a replacement on the spot! That’s what I call excellent customer service support protection!

Not sure why bby allows or ask me leave review for protection plan multiple times, but here is copy and paste of my previous review of it. As long time bby customer, I always purchased product protectation plan. And now being total tech member, I feel even comfier buying products from bby since even small items comes with 2 years.

I shopped at several stores and Best Buy was the only one that offered install and friendly services. I am so happy that I was selected to work with the best buy team.
