Peace of mind
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this because I knew we were about to buy a ton of electronics to replace the old ones and wanted to have peace of mind in case something happens that I can't fix or figure out. Thank God I haven't had the need to use the coverage and I pray I'll never have to use it. But it's there if needed.

Solid performer

Take time with the on screen menu to get the connections correct. I found a few mistakes I made and the set up process even found an out of phase speaker, again my fault. The apps (Heos, Denon AVR and Audyssey) are painfully bad, like zero stars. I expect that for a $20 app (Audyssey) it should just work and connect and be value added. That is not the case, I could have downloaded a game and got more use. I was able to connect one time in 20+ attempts. The Denon AVR app never, not once connected. People say these apps are slow to respond. If my phone battery needs charging because I have to have the app open in order to connect that is a problem. The sound of the receiver is great and I have no complaints. According to my sound level meter the audio is limited to around 85db. So even though you have 125 RMS watts per channel you will never need it. My speakers are very efficient in their power so I dont think it is the power bottle neck. I expect it is some future lawsuit limiting power like the warning you get from Apple and Samsung when you crank your headphones. One star taken off for applications being scam-vapor wear.

Not worth it!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had it for couple years then guess what happen if you use your navigation of your phone on the Stereo (Apple/Android). Don't matter Waze or Apple navigator. Your Navigator will start floating everywhere! like what the fudge. Where am I. What street am I on? So I recommend not buying this stereo. even though it looks cool when it come to using DVD player or using smart view. Not worth it.
