Motorized lens cover gets stuck! Unbelievable!

The motorized lens cover doesn't open all the way or close all the way so the projector doesn't work and does not respond to the remote control. I'm surprised Epson what's this design flaw exist? It's amazing to stand there and listen to the motor try to open the lens cover or close it and it doesn't move making the projector useless. This was from the first day that it was installed. And continued when Best Buy reinstalled it in a more proper location after the first installation team installed in the wrong place and with a huge hot spot on the top half of the screen. Maybe you'll get lucky and get one that works. Epson, are you listening?! You might want to go back to the drawing board.

I don't know - I am 6 weeks and 4 in home visits in so far, and the job still isn't complete due to missing or damaged items. Nice tech guys, not their fault. So far I have wasted 18-20 hours of missed work waiting around for service calls, and have at least one more to go (assuming it gets corrected that time).

false protection. They will force you to utilize the manufacturers coverage and have you jump through many hoops before they decide to get involved. A scam for most products. Definitely a cash grab. Get a credit card that extends the manufacturer warranty for free and you will have better coverage.

would not suggest, customer support is useless, to get 24 months free product support, you need to renew your membership and pay another $200
