Bought for my wife phone since my kids have her phone more so it's better to have in case accidents happen.

I like to have Geek Insurance instead of the carriers. The availability is always great to have.

I set this up on my credit card and honestly completely forgot about it, not that it was a huge charge but I never use the service and when I actually read into it it wouldn't have covered things I would have wanted it for.
