I purchased this coverage knowing there was a $150 deductible. What I did not know was that my three week old Android Turbo would be replaced with a refurbished model. And, that I would have to do all the data and file transfers from my phone (with a broken screen) to the "new" refurbished phone myself. When I walked up to the Geek Squad counter, the young geek handed me some papers with a web address, some instructions and basically said your on your own. Gee, Thanks a lot!

I was talked into the protection plan when I upgraded and was told how much better it is than the Sprint plan. Other than being cheaper, it's really no different at all. Still the same $150 deductible for replacing a phone. At least in the sprint store - with their coverage - if the phone stops working (and isn't physically damaged) they will just swap it out for you on the spot and not even charge you for it!

Have phone protection, only down side is you cannot extend protection.

Had for my last home did not use but got convinced to buy again only downside is the deductible payments

I loved the old best black tye plan. With the new added deductible.it is comparable to any of the carriers plans.

If you are prone to breaking stuff, I would suggest getting this.

Would like to see when needing the protection to have it available an easier way. Need it so dont really have choice.

Always get this for my phones but don't always need it. But was great to have those times I've needed it

Typical protection plan, works great when needed, just an insurance plan

Not ever going to use it so need to worry about it. Not worth it to be honest

Battery failed in my S6 within the first month, and because they dont have removeable batteries anymore its considered a whole phone replacement which is $150. And left me on my own to deal with samsung directly, this is the same service I had purchased with my last phone.

It was difficult just to call best buy just to get to talk to the squad, wth. I was told that i would be able to video call friends and family who have the same phone or samsung phones, my phone cant video call. Why??
