Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When I purchased the Samsung S7 Edge and the Samsung S7 for my wife, the salesperson recommended purchasing the full coverage warranty for the (expensive) phones. We were told that everything was covered including loss, total damage and just about anything else that could go wrong!!!! My wife suggested I get it for my S7 Edge since I am usually 'hard' on my phones! I have been paying an additional monthly charge for that warranty. Now, when I brought my phone in for repair, the salesperson tells me there will be a 'service fee' charge of $149.99 to complete the repair! This was never brought up when I initially purchased the warranty. If you added the monthly purchase price for the warranty I've been paying for, plus the $149.99 service fee charge, I might as well just buy a new phone... but it won't be from Best Buy!

I CAN NOT GET ANYONE TO HELP ME
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been trying for a couple of days to get my phone repaired/replaced and I have been giving the runaround everywhere i go. First Best Buy talks me into buying a product that they said would protect my phone (IT DID NOT) then when my phone slides off the arm of a chair and hits the floor and cracks and breaks we take it to Best Buy in Albany Georgia (where I purchased it) and was told to contact Geek Squad so my husband brings me my phone and I contact Geek Squad and they tell me I have to take it back to Best Buy. I calmly explain to the man my mother has stage 4 pancreatic cancer and I cannot leave her so he tells me to call best buy, I did. I again got the runaround. End result MY PHONE IS STILL BROKE. one guy at best buy Sid try to help but so far to no avail

Horrible Service

No where does it say that Best Buy is not authorized to fix the Samsung phone (limited to one store in Virginia at the other end of the state). Customer service was horrible - told me to exchange it for $200 in stead of the $60 repair since Best Buy isn't authorized to repair. Why is this my fault? The contract does not say Best Buy won't repair if you have a Samsung.
