    Geek squad saved my phone first time EVER CRACKING MY CELL PHONE SCREEN Samsung Galaxy S9+ people in Bakersfield,ca were amazing nice it only took a hour an done thank you

    We had Qeek Squad for one of our Verizon phones. We paid for it for over a year and the phone we had would not come on without being connected to a charger. It only needs a new battery.When we called we reached a lady in the Phillipians who didn't speak good English. So we took it to Geek Squad and they would not even look at it or offer a battery replacement. All they offered was a $150 refurbished replacement. . Which was more than we even owed on the phone. So we pretty much just gave them free money. All they want is your money. Poor customer service and I guess there free battery replacement they advertise is just a gimmick. We will not use Geek Squad for protection again. If we would have had Verizon Insurance instead we would have got another phone for free due to the extended warranty. Lesson learned!!

    I purchased a phone about a year ago, all was well until about a year later. The phone randomly stopped working! Never dropped it and always had it in a case. I don't usually buy product insurance unless I spend more then $1000 but I did get the Geek Squad protection plan. I setup an appointment at 10am in the Danbury, CT store for right when they open and to my surprise there was no wait! The gentleman that assisted me (I forget his name) was very kind and knowledgeable. I told him my situation and after he visually inspected the product he snapped into action. The phone I had was on backorder somehow with the phone insurance company and he went over to phone manager to talk. Within 15 mins he had multiple options for me to chose from to remedy my situation. I run my own business and having a cell phone is a MUST. Everyone I came in contact with that day was great! I would highly recommend the geek squad and because of this gentleman's customer service skills I will most likely be purchasing geek squad protection. I usually buy my phone straight from Verizon so I'm used to long lines, aweful service and no satisfaction, so this was a breath of fresh air!

    Solid Protection for Electronics

    I have used the Monthly Geek Squad Protection on a few cell phones over the years, as it typically covered one or two extra little pieces of coverage compared to the carrier provided insurance. The deductibles are comparable to other carrier provided insurance as well. I've also used this coverage on a few other electronics I've purchased over the years. Fortunately (and unfortunately) I've only ever had to use the insurance once on a pair of headphones. I walked into the store, showed them the broken pair of headphones, and within 5 minutes I was walking out with a brand new pair. It was a fantastic experience.

    Geek squad protection has been wonderful to me and in my opinion better then manufacturer warranties. I recently purchased a phone in which randomly stopped working. After inspecting the phone to confirm I didn't threw it against the wall they immediately sprunbg into action to get a replacement. to our surprise they stopped selling my phone so they ended up giving me a full refund for the phone towards the purchase of a new phone. I left with a Samsung Galaxy s9+ for the same monthly payment as my old inferior phone!

    I was unaware that my protection plan did not cover a scenario in the event of a lost and stolen phone. I would advise that customers are informed of the total plan at the time of purchase. It can be a little misleading. However, I will commend the customer service rep for explaining the details when I called and providing an excellent recourse when I decided to end my protection plan. If you need a protection plan for your cell phone, you might want to compare the Geek Squad plan with that of the one offered by the cell phone company.

    Once again, the Greek Squad rides to the day! I am not always the most tech-savvy, so they have proven valuable time and time again over the years. Whether it be installation of my flat screen tv, service on my laptop, or virus software updates for my laptop, they always impress. The biggest issue with our high tech world is how dependent we become on our devices. So even the slightest of malfinctions are always ill- timed. The speedy response and convenience of Greek Squad makes life easier... wisest purchase I ever made

    I truly never knew that I actually had a choice on who I purchased my coverage plan from for my families cellular devices and tablets. I was pleasantly surprised at the level of coverage I could receive with Best Buy's Geek Squad Protection plans! Okay so this may be no new news to you all! However to this non-technical savvy Momma it was fabulous!! Payments are low, very reasonable and automatically deducted monthly from my checking account. Best part is the Geek Squad folks are super helpful and their customer service is the best!!

    I somehow cracked the screen on my Galaxy S8 Plus and went to the store instead of dealing with it myself directly on the website. The associate at the store was very willing to help me and set up the whole process simply. In a couple days a new phone arrived and I shipped the other off. It cost $200 as promised and that was it. They met their deadline of shipping it to me very quickly and the box itself was used for the return. Email confirmations at each step where immediate.

    I bought my son's phone at Best Buy instead of the AT&T store, which is my provider. Anyone with half a brain knows that getting insurance on a new phone is a must, so I purchased it through Best Buy and it charges my card separately every month, which I like because it makes my phone bill smaller. I pay my phone bill with cash, and sometimes it's better to charge that small amount and pay later. I recommend diversifying like I've done.

    When I got my Samsung Galaxy S7, I never thought I'd be able to work it. But since I've been using it I don't think I could do without it. It's become so familiar to me. And it's nice to know that there's someone there at Best Buy that can help me with it and I've used that helped too and it's convenient. I'm so glad I bought the Galaxy phone. It's not as complicated as I thought. I would rate it a 10.

    In general, my experience working through problems with the Geek Squad is very positive. They can't always fix my problem on site, but they nearly always provide a solution which includes replacing my product or sending it off for repair. They are always courteous and helpful. If you have children and electronics I would strongly recommend investing in the GEEK SQUAD Protection Plan.

    my new HP laptop has shown high quality and easy access from the very beginning. Appreciate the geek squad interest in helping me out whenever a problem arises. Have recently been attacked by hackers and have solved serious problem via the G squad. However have had to pay for an expensive program which i was not expecting to purchase. Perhaps this world we live in is peaceful no more..!!!

    Movie to use this yet but it's good to know that if my phone cracks due to an accidental drop or anything else that I'm covered. The only thing is it's not a flat out coverage you have to pay a deductible I have a Samsung S8 plus so it's something like a hundred fifty or $200 for each deductible. But I would recommend you get coverage even if you're not drop prone.

    I am a busy person and cannot function without my phone. I use my phone to pay bills, purchased things, and schedule my days as well as contact family and friends whenever I need to. So when my phones kept acting up The Geek Squad was able to replace them for free because of this coverage... Would recommend it to anyone who is thinking about it and not sure!

    I LIKED THE OLDER PROGRAM BETTER BUT THIS ONE IS GOOD AS WELL. I LIKE BEING ABLE TO WALK IN AND GET HELP VS. SENDING MY PHONE OFF. IT WOULD BE GREAT IF WE COULD GET A LOANER PHONE AGAIN SINCE I HAVE A SPECIAL NEEDS CHILD MY PHONE IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME. BUT OTHER THAN THE ISSUE WITH NO LOANER TO USE THIS INSURANCE IS GREAT FOR THE PRICE!!

    I have purchased and had to use the Geek Square protection service for several products purchased at Best Buy throughout the years. I have always been pleased with their service. Of course it always depends on the person you work with. Two times out of three times that I have used the service had been a great experience experience.

    The original phone had a problem within a month of purchasing. Would have taken longer to use Samsung's warranty. Although we had to pay $150 for the insurance fee on top of monthly fee for the cell phone insurance it was easy got a brand new phone in store as a replacement. For our second line never used it once.

    Overall, the plan has been good when I need it. You just call the number and they ship you another phone and take your credit card # just in case you don't send in the broken phone. When they receive the broken phone in a self addressed and paid for by Best buy box, they let you know, and that's all you have to do.

    Many articles say that buying an extended product warranty is a waste of money - this is an individual decision based on how YOU are going to use the product - it is your own valued decision - a vacuum, an I phone, a laptop - all serviced through Geek Squad or the insurance/warranty program - this has saved me money in the long run -
