Seems to be more expensive than the carrier. Phone has external sound problem with in 21 days, and they still want 150.00 to fix it. Now i thought with in 30 days and total protection they would just give me a new one or fix it. I was wrong, still broken, no help.

It is a great service offered for sprint customers

Got my phone from best buy and went with their geek squad plan to cover. Terrible idea! I had to wait days for my replacement! Through Verizon they always just overnight a phone after you pay the fee and then you sent in your phone.

Don't waste your money. They don't help you when something goes wrong with your phone. They wouldn't even diagnose my phone because it had a scratch claim that the little scratch could be the problem. What a waste.

My son bought this for his Xbox and it says the codes don't match. Can't take it back to Best Buy because there's no returns or exchanges. Xbox won't help and tells us to go to Best Buy. Money down the drain.

In my experience, Geek Squad services are poor and store management does not support the Service program. If I make another Best Buy purchase, I don't think I will buy the Geek Squad service plan again.

this service is for my phones and I Kant seem to use it they have been reported stolen since February and I still can't get a claim I still pay every month for this and don't know why

There is a huge deductible associated with this program, making the overall cost, more then the cost of repair. And they send you someone else's refurbished phone, not your own

Please do not purchase cell phone insurance through Best Buy. More than one week after filing my claim, I still have not received my replacement phone (in violation of the terms of the policy) and Best Buy has done nothing to address the issue other than saying it will be delivered in several more days. Does anyone else find it ridiculous that Best Buy doesn't allow customers to deal with protection issues at Best Buy stores?? The one thing which would distinguish them from competitors and they can't get that right ... The delay has been caused solely as a result of Best Buy's mistakes (sending to wrong address, etc) - however there has been no communication from them directly - I'm aware of the problems only because I've called to follow-up. I have spoken to 4 different reps, including a supervisor, each time receiving inconsistent and contradictory information. Terrible service for more than 10 monthly plus 200 deductible ... yes we will cobfirm your address by email (nosuch confirmation provided), yes we will provide you with the tracking # by email (we no longer have the ability to provide that info), yes we will send the replacement phone next day since it is our fault (no you will receive the phone in 5 business days, again with no written confirmation), yes you can call corporate to complain since we will do nothing to remedy our mistakes and delay (corporate transferred me to best buy .com general number and the woman who answered was confused as to why she was receiving the call) ...

Cost more than Verizon's with the same deductible. And depending on the store, could take forever to get the phone repaired. It's not a good insurance anymore.

Seems like no matter what happens to your phone, you will always have to pay the deductible for a new phone because any problem is not fixable.

Not good service in my past anyway expensive for what you get next time I will deffinetly get a other seperate insurance instead
