Totally recommend this movie. Never a dull moment.

This is a classic worth watching....atleast twice.

A Movie night purchase and it was such a let down for me. SO long, not as funny as I remembered it would be.

Got this so I could enjoy one of my favorite movies anywhere - turns out it is mislabled, and there is no UV digiital download. Also, there are fewer special features than there were with the DVD version. All in all, no reason to upgrade your DVD to BluRay, at least with this version.

I didn´t like it, I got bored the first 40 minutes so I stopped the movie, it wasn´t funny....

I keep hearing how this is one of the funniest film. I had a few laughs but mostly groans. If you're no fan of british humor skip it.

The movie is terrific and the extras are cool but there was no ultraviolet number to get the digital copy and that is what I wanted the most.

For years I have heard how funny this movie is and I barely laughed.

There isn't much to say about this movie except that it is hillarious! I saw it first when I was too young to appreciate it's humor, but as I got older fell in love with it. Monty Python is, by far, some of the greatest comedic works I have yet to see, and this was one of their best movies. I love that the movie actually matches history very well as it makes its way through the story of King Arthur - all with more laughs than I can count! This is a great movie to watch with friends, or alone! And no, it is not just a movie for drunk college students, I don't drink yet I am absoluetly entertained!

This movie is great and this blu-ray is also great.

From the country that brought us King Arthur, Shakespeare, and the Beatles, we are pleased and honored to have this great masterpiece of silly English humor! This parody of the King Arthur legend is silly and fun, and even has some of that crazy bathroom humor that is so good and outrageous. King Arthur is played by comic genius Graham Chapman, M.D., whose medical degree is from Cambridge University! This zany comedy blends, or rather smashes together, sharp exquisite cinematography worthy of a serious movie and authentic-looking medieval - and a few 1970's - costumes with wild and wacky non-stop jokes, fun songs, and the Knights of the Round Table dancing the can-can! The Extras section, on an ever so slightly serious note, has some great background video footage, complete with shots of a rather beautiful English castle, and some fun trivia quizzes. If laughter is, indeed, the best medicine, then Monty Python and the Holy Grail is clearly what the doctor ordered!

I love this movie. From its delightful depiction of Republican health plan proposals ("Bring out your dead -- CLANG!") to the Occupy Wall Street protesters ("Help, help, I'm being repressed!"), it's as funny, intelligent, insightful, interesting, funny, timely, and did I already say funny, as it was back when it was made and hippies roamed the earth. My favorite scene, and it will always be my favorite scene, is Sir Galahad (Michael Palin) at the Castle Anthrax ("It's not a very nice name, but WE are nice!"). I have had such a crush on Carol Cleveland since the early '70s when the Flying Circus first invaded these shores, and I would happily spend an evening with either Zoot or Dingo (or, for that matter, with Winston and Piglet -- "We ARE doctors!"). It's time now to release the rest of the Python movies on Blu-Ray. Where's "The Meaning of Life" already?

Few comedies hold up well over the years, but this one does it as well as any. The plot is hilarious, the comic timing impeccible, and the direction stunning. The movie moves along at a great pace and is chock full of lines that you will find yourself repeating over and over. If you run into another big fan, you will be trading lines all night. The irreverence of not only the legend of King Arthur, but everything from God to government is fair game, as is usually the case with the Pythons. A great movie, one that will be enjoyed by our grandchildren.

My husband introduced me to this comedic film that is "Monty Python And The Holy Grail." He has owned this dvd for over ten years now and was able to explain some of the scenes to me while allowing me to discover what happens. There are 28 scenes available in this collection and one of my favorite scenes was the humorous part where one of the knights ends up in a castle of several women that apparently want to "take care of him in their own way." "Monty Python And The Holy Grail" is great to watch for those moments when you're craving something to make you laugh.

Easily on of the best Monty Python movie by far, Holy Grail looks stunning on Blu Ray. While the picture doesn't pop, the colors look real and natural. The audio is presented in 5.1 lossless and is fantastic. Join Arthur and his knights on their silly quest for the Holy Grail and all the hilarious antics that are sure to ensue.

These reviews demand a minimum of 50 characters, which seems ironic. After all, this is Monty Python at their best. It can take a single word to review, e.g. - "Hilarious", or thousands of words to describe. There are actually college courses studying Monty Python. If you need to ask if it is funny, a review probably won't convince you. Just watch it.

I've been watching this movie seems like forever. I finally upgraded my DVD to Blu-ray, however, the transfer isn't the greatest, but I did it mainly because Blu-rays are harder to scratch and they last longer. Not the greatest movie, but it has it's moments and I really enjoy watching it...my wife doesn't understand it, but she still laughs at some parts.

The Holy Grail is one of the greatest movies of all time. And every household should own a copy. I had this version but on DVD for years and finally upgraded to the blu-ray, and it's like seeing it for the first time again. This release has everything you could want in terms of extras, and the digital copy is a must for me.

The Holy Grail is well, the holy grail of Monty Python movies (IMHO). Classic lines, and memorable scenes make make this an outstanding historical comedy. Blu-Ray makes the resolution that much more enjoyable. It IS the rabbit!!
