they made this classic in blu-ray, what could be better? as well as looking crisp and certainly better than it ever has, they have included a great number of fun extras! i am very happy with this purchase. i am glad to see that they are making these older classic movies in blu-ray! if you want a laugh, you can't go wrong!

While Life of Brian may be my personal favorite Monty Python film, it's hard to argue against Holy Grail being the quintessential MP classic. Ridiculous, quotable and hilarious, this is essential comedy. This blu ray offers the best presentation of this classic to date with all of the special features that your DVD offers.

Let's see...I have an old Betamax copy, a regular DVD (probably two or three versions), a Blu-ray, and now this special Anniversary Edition. Totally worth the money. Great special features and colorful packaging add to the brilliance of the totally brilliant film. Beautiful, hilarious insanity rules.

This was recommended by someone who loves British humor, and if you appreciate it, then this is for you. Silly British humor and jokes at its finest. Highly recommended for those that enjoy(ed) watching the original Monty Python show, or those of you that enjoy laughing. Interesting story, and worth the watch

Monty Python and the Holy Grail is a great British comedy. It's extremely witty and dry. The Bluray version is excellent. The picture is sharp and the sound is great. Picking this up for $4.99 in High Definition is a no brainer. I strongly recommend this flick to everyone, especially if you can get for this cheap.

This classic movie needs no introduction, it has a cult following. Zany fun, and middle school level humor runs deep and wide throughout the film. Even though the disc is on Blu-ray, it is original quality with a very simple menu. It was affordably priced, a great investment!

This Blu-ray of Terry Gilliam's "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" condenses the previous special edition DVDs to one disc and also throws in a couple of new additions. The A/V quality does get a boost as well, although not as much as some may have hoped. What definitely hasn't changed is the signature "Monty Python" humor on full display which is as funny as ever! This release is a must-have for any fans that don't already own "MPatHG" in some form, but even those that do should give this edition consideration. (Especially when it's on sale!)

If you're reading this, you probably know what you are getting into with Holy Grail. The movie is perfect and wonderful and one of my favorites. The biggest advantage to owning this version is that I was finally able to get a digital copy to watch wherever and whenever. There is much rejoicing!

This is one of my favorite movies, and I watch it at least once a year. Some people may not get the British humor, but if you do this is one of the greatest satires on the King Arthur legend. You will also learn more than you ever wanted to know about Swallows.

I already own this on standard dvd, had to buy the blue ray edition. Worth the price just for the Special Features. I have not seen this in awhile, the animation is spectacular, the dialogue is just as hilarious as I remember. Highly recommended for any python fan.

I really enjoy monty python films.This one is my favorite I've watched this first on vhs a long time ago. I purchased the blu ray and watched with my gf but she didnt seem to enjoy it lol. Might be a comedy for a select group haha I like the fast comedy delivery. Campy goofy jokes are great.

If anyone on this planet has NOT seen this movie then they Must must must go watch this because it is just plain silly. Out of all the antics from Monty Python series/movies this IS (pun intended) the holy grail of all of them! Can watch again and again and it's still brilliant.

It looks great and is loaded with special features. Certainly it won't be a demo disc for your home theater, but it has never looked better on home video. It's also got a wealth of additional features (some new to this edition) so it's a must own on blu-ray.

I've been a long time fan of this film, but used to only own it on VHS. Once I saw the Blu-Ray, I had to upgrade. The bonus features are worth the price alone, as Python alum Terry Jones intros a trove of hilarious deleted (extended) scenes and anecdotes. Very happy with this one.

Called to find out if Best Buy had a copy of it and was told they did. Asked if they would hold it for me and they did. Picked it up and i am very happy with it thanks Best Buy. The movie itself is a classic and as usual since i have not seen it in years was very funny.

My 13 year old son loves this movie. His friend that loves everything 70s and 80s introduced it to him. He watches it over and over, laughing out load all the time, and picks up on the more little details each time he watches it. The digital copy is a good thing too.

The Monty Python Movies are a standard in classic humor. Much of today's satire comes directly from these movies! the Holy Grail could conceivably be the Holy Grail of comedy genius. I must have if you like your humor satirical. Enjoy.

If you like Monty Python's Flying Circus, you'll love this movie. Even though it's British humo(u)r, this American finds it hilarious. Very quotable and can be re-watched many, many times. Also informative. You will learn the airspeed velocity of a European Swallow.

If anybody has ever watched this, they'll get the nods to the film. If not, Ni!! I love the humor in this movie. Some people won't get it, but its classic Monty Python. Plus, it gives the best line ever! "Your mother was a hamster, and your father smells of elderberries!"

A childhood favorite, this Monty Python outing is always a treat & truly entertaining. From the galloping coconuts to the knights who say Ni, it's a must-see for comedy/spoof fans. This Blu-ray takes the previous remastering up several notches with the 1080p transfer.
