THE STORY LINE TO THIS MOVIE WAS GREAT! BEGAINING WAS OFF THE CHAIN! BUT THEN IT THROWS YOU A CUVE BALL WHICH YOU WILL FEEL A LITTLE UNCOMFIRT BUT OVER ALL GOOD!

Unfortunately I found this movie long and boring. In my opinion, La La Land was easily the better picture of the year (despite the fact Moonlight won the Academy Award)

The actors in this movie were good in their roles. This is a hard movie subject.Writing and directing for this drama was able to pull you into the moral characters.

This film won the Academy Award for Best Picture, but I preferred Lion, Sing Street and others. Others might find this more entertaining. For me, it was just okay.

I'm not sure what was supposed to be so great about this movie. It's by the numbers and incredibly anti-climatic. Not terrible, but I had to remove and extra star because it was falsely identified as a pirated copy on my computer., so I had to suffer through the typical anti-piracy measures. Just a warning to those wanting to watch this on a windows PC because this is not an issue with the vast majority of blurays i've tried.

Purchased the movie Moonlight on DVD. The movie itself had a good story, but certainly was not worthy of being named Best Picture by the Academy Awards.

I heard so many things about this movie but it wasn't at all what I thought it would be. I watched half of the movie and haven't picked it up since.

I was excited for this film given that it won best picture. While the film does provide a unique view of a very under discussed topic (homosexuality in the African American community) it almost tries too hard. My self and others found that we were continually waiting for something to happen, but it didn't. The acting is good, but Mahershalla Ali is only really in the first segment. HIs performance was great but not present in most of the film.

Worth the purchase for $15 but probably wont watch it again. Good movie to see how this individual grew up and his acceptance in his decision.

Moonlight is a great character study and how life was very rough for this person. But winning best picture over La La Land (sigh) nope.

Some people think this movie is about a drug dealer's life growing up. It's not. It's a coming of age story about a gay man. That's it.

The plot of this movie was average and the movie lacked continuity and left more questions than it answered throughout the movie.

Even though this movie won the award for best picture, I didn't think it was that good. However the acting is very good.

I thought the movie would be great because of all of the nominations it received. I am not sure I will watch it again.

It was a good movie in terms of the motive. But some of he movie took me left which lost my interest

A tough year for the Oscars but not sure if this one is everything that deserves the hype

Of course it did, I liked it, but I was rooting for Hacksaw Ridge, this was overrated honestly

I liked the movie and the characters in the movie and the story about one person growing up.

wasn't quite understanding what the hype was around this movie but i was kind of let down.

Moonlight is an ok movie it's not the worst but if you want to buy it I saw rent it 1st.
