Haven't found rhyme or reason to it. Sometimes it does it and sometimes it doesn't

Keeps phone charged

The only issue I have is the silent toggle above the volume buttons stopped working after a week. I have to slide the top portion of the case off to silence my phone. Also shows all scratches, and scratches pretty easily.
