Customers highly value the Juice Pack Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max for its ability to extend battery life, ease of use, and protective qualities. However, some customers have noted that the added battery pack can increase the phone's weight and reduce grip. Overall, the Juice Pack offers a practical solution for users seeking extended power and protection, but it may compromise the phone's original sleekness.

    Got Mophie? Stay Juice'd

So I just received my new Mophie Battery Pack case for my new iPhone 17 Pro Max. Now Mophie is brand that has been around for quite sometime and people have come to love and trust this brand. I haven’t used a Mophie case on my iPhone since the iPhone 6/Plus. So having prior knowledge and experience with the brand and the case before, I knew what I was getting. Inside the package comes the Mophie case and the user manual. There is not a USB-C cable included which is kinda a downer but not necessarily a dealbreaker. Setting up the Mophie case with your iPhone 17 Pro Max is pretty-straightforward and easy a pie to do. The case comes in 2 separate pieces. Simply slide your iPhone down into the bottom part of the case with the USB-C connector and then slide the top case on until it snaps into place. And removing the case is just as easy. On the left side of the case are buttons for the Action Button as well as the Volume +/- buttons. On the front of the case at the bottom are speaker and mic grills for audio. The right side features the Power Button and a cutout towards the bottom for the new Camera Control button. And on the back is obviously the camera cutout as well as the Power Button for the case itself along with 4 led lights that I’m assuming each one indicates 25% of how full the battery case is. Now as I stated before I have used a Mophie case before and I knew that it makes your phone significantly more bulkier than a regular standard case does. I personally don’t mind this as I’m one of the few people that don’t really care about how thin smartphones are nowadays. I absolutely love a good heft to my phones. So the bulkiness doesn’t bother me. Another great feature about the case is that the back of the battery case is MagSafe compatible, which is great because I use a MagSafe wallet for my ID and a couple of cards. My MagSafe connects easily and has a strong magnet connects which keeps my wallet in place without sliding all around and such. All in all, I love the my new Mophie case and will use it especially when I know I’m going to be away from my charger for awhile, it does come in handy.

All day power and then some...

I live on the road. Airports, rental cars, client sites, delays, reroutes, and days that start at 5 AM and somehow end at midnight. My iPhone 17 Pro Max isn’t a nice-to-have…it’s mission-critical. Calls, email, Teams, boarding passes, car apps, hotel keys, two-factor auth…if my phone dies my day’s over. That’s precisely why the Mophie Juice Pack earns a permanent spot on my phone. This isn’t pretending to be something it’s not. It’s a full-on battery case that features an integrated 3,600 mAh rechargeable battery that can boost your phone’s life by up to about 50%. In real life, this means that I can land after a cross-country flight, hit meetings, take calls, and still have battery left without the trouble of “finding an outlet” in every terminal. The most attractive thing is how simple it is. There’s no separate power bank to remember, no cable to dig out of a bag. The Juice Pack is always there, always ready. If the phone battery runs low, a quick press of the button kicks in supplemental power. Simple. Effective. Just how it’s supposed to be when you’re moving fast. Protection is another one of many underrated wins here. The case does add real drop protection and isn't anything close to a rugged brick. It’s definitely thicker than a minimalist case (physics still applies here) but the bulk adds it with purpose, not sloppiness. I would rather have just a bit more thickness than a cracked screen and dead battery at 30,000 feet. Charging behavior is smart as well. The phone charges first, then the case when you plug it in. That’s huge when you’ve got 5 minutes at an airport outlet and need usable battery right now, not later. LED indicators clearly indicate remaining charge so you’re never guessing. There are trade-offs. With the case on, you won’t get wireless charging passthrough, and yes, it adds weight. It can even heat up when you’re charging hard and multitasking. None of that surprised me…and none of it outweighs the benefit of reliable, all-day power. Bottom line: whether you’re a road warrior, frequent flyer, or anyone who cannot afford a dead phone, the Mophie Juice Pack for iPhone 17 Pro Max is the answer. It’s not flashy. It’s not ultra-thin. It just works…and when you travel as much as I do, that’s precisely what matters.

    Impressive Battery Power and Protection

I am very impressed with the build quality, battery power, and impact protection provided by this case. This case combines the benefits of an external battery and cell phone case into one convent package. The build quality of the case is immediately noticeable. It has a premium look and feel. Nothing I like about this case is the bulk is medium so as to not be too heavy to hold and handle. The impact protection this case should provide protection from all but the most severe of hazards. The case edge is raised to protect the display screen. I am using a screen protector for extra protection. The case has an external battery built into it for extra power. After using it for a few days the extra power it provides is very noticeable. In my opinion it doubles the battery power of my iPhone. I find this to be very useful especially since I sometimes do not have easy access to a charging cable. I strongly recommend this line of battery and case combination products. They look great and doubled my phone battery time. Just make sure you order the model for your specific phone because the fit is not universal.

    Have loved mophie for years!

I first started seeing acquaintances using mophie cases on their iphones back in 2013 and I thought it was one of the coolest and smartest gadgets I’d ever seen. Twelve years later, I still think that is the case, and I love how mophie has barely had to modify their product in that time. As the phones have improved, their product has improved as well obviously, but the overall basic idea and function from back then, is still the same today and I’m sure it saves countless people each day who experience a low charge on their phone but still desperately need their phone for the day. I have always been one who stresses about phone battery levels when going out for an extended period of time. Too many times have I had my phone with me at a beach or pool, been at a crowded event, or at an event in sweltering heat, and my phone is raging hot and the battery level drops exponentially, putting me at risk of having my battery not last the rest of the day. I know for a fact had I had the convenience and reliability of the mophie juice pack case, I would have not had to stress so much. I love that mophie really thought of it all with this one, the case fits securely and the fit and finish is nice, and I like that they added the lanyard loop port as I tend to use those. More importantly, though, is the ability to have priority plus charging on my phone while also still allowing audio to play through the USB-C port. I tend to use this a lot when I am in and out of my car running errands. The extra boost of power this mophie case brings to my phone is impressive, I feel spoiled without having to ever stress about plugging my phone in for a boost throughout the day. I know mophie has been a trusted brand for well over a decade, and anybody would benefit from having one of their juice pack cases on their phone.

The new Juice Pack for the iPhone 17 Pro/Pro Max harkens back to the days of the Juice Pack's of yore - a time before MagSafe and before wireless charging - A time when installing one of these converted your 30-pin iPhone into USB-Micro B and bulked it up unimaginably, but that sweet extra battery life... Was just a little extra. Fast forward to today - The new Juice Pack is slimmer than I remember the old ones being, likely because the inserted phone itself is slimmer. Its got a nice matte finish, that unfortunately picks up crazy fingerprints and hand oils and needs cleaned constantly, but any similar cases would behave the same in matte black unless rubberized and then you have coating issues to deal with. There are a few things about this case that stand out... - USB Type C is fully pass-through so data and charging connections both work. - MagSafe accessories work through this case as it has included passive magnetic back. It does NOT wirelessly charge through this connection though (That would be the ultimate!) - The case is still bulky, but now the battery itself is slimmer and offers almost doubles the battery life of the phones. This thing is a game changer for the classic battery case format - Does exactly what the old proposition promised, adds MagSafe accessories ability AND offers actual, selectable extension charging. Definitely worth it now!

I’ve been using the Mophie Juice Pack on my iPhone 17 Pro Max for a couple of weeks now, and it’s a solid option if you need extra battery life and better protection. The case isn’t too bulky considering it has a built-in 3600mAh battery—it adds some weight and thickness, but the phone still fits comfortably in my pocket. The build quality is good, with raised edges to protect the screen and camera, and it offers up to 6-foot drop protection. On the battery side, it reliably adds about 50% more life on heavy-use days (streaming, photos, navigation). There’s a manual button to start charging the phone, which prevents unnecessary drain, and priority charging means the iPhone tops up first when plugged in. It also has full access to the Camera Control button, which is nice. A few drawbacks: It’s $100, and there’s no wireless charging for the case itself (wired USB-C only). It does support MagSafe for accessories like wallets or mounts, though. If your iPhone 17 Pro Max battery isn’t quite lasting through your day, this is a reliable way to extend it while adding decent protection. I’d rate it 8/10—practical and well-made, but not for anyone prioritizing a slim profile.

Reliable Power Boost Without Too Much Bulk

I've had the mophie Juice Pack on my iPhone 17 Pro for the past few weeks, and it certainly exceeded my expectations! The extra battery life probably won’t be much to you, but the extra 50% did help out a lot during those crazy long days where I was running back and forth from work, running errands, and taking care of my kids' activities. Priority Plus charging has worked exceptionally well, as I plugged it in the night before, so I didn’t have to figure out which one was charging before I went to bed. While the actual case itself seems to be of good quality, it doesn’t really add any extra bulk. I personally like the raised edges since I have a tendency to put my phone down face first without thinking about it (not really a good habit to have!). Also, having a USB-C port that can charge my phone and also work for my wired headphones is great. The only thing I would change is to make the port just a little deeper, as when I first tried using a few of my cables, they felt somewhat loose. The status button works well, is very user-friendly, and has a simple design. The back of the case has a passive magnet on it, which allows the case to hold onto my vent mount better than I was expecting, especially with all of the bumpy roads going on in Huntsville. The only thing that I didn’t like was that the side scrolling experience is “almost” perfect. While it was smooth, it doesn’t have the same seamless scrolling experience like a traditional slim case. When it comes to protection, added battery life, and the ease of having everything in one case, I believe the mophie Juice Pack is an excellent product that delivers on all fronts. I am very happy with the product!

As the title says this is my first morphine case I have ever owned. I’m usually a no case or super thin case guy. As I’ve gotten more electronic at work and more reliant on my phone through out the day my battery has started to suffer. Now why I won’t use this as my everyday case I do carry it around with me as a power bank and it does exactly what it needs to do. Slide the top half of the case open slide your phone into the bottom half which houses a usbc charger clip the top half back on and press the power button and off you go. I will usually slip this thing on when my phone hits about 10% battery and from there until the case is fully out of charge I hit 80% on average. The case part is a two way street. I have dropped this phone several times with this case on and not one ding on my phone the actually case still looks flawless. But the double edge sword is I drop this case so much because it’s so slippery. As a no case guy goes I have maybe dropped it less than 5 times I have already surpassed that with this case after a few weeks. Other than the slipperiness of the case this thing is top notch.

The 17PM battery already has some decent life to it but.....getting that little extra but out of the phone is always a benefit as well. I've been using the 17PM since launch and have never had an issue with the battery as of yet. That thing will all day and then some which is great. However, I have seen some instances where certain use cases of the phone require some extra battery power. Lots of people who use their phones as cameras/camcorders always need some extra juice to power through their sessions and what not so this people need something that'll provide extra screen time. Mophie has been making these battery cases for awhile and these are usually a good first, go-to for those looking for some extra battery power. These battery pack cases provide up to an additional 50% power to the battery which is fantastic whichever way you look at it. Yeah, the case isn't going to win any beauty conttests but it provides ample protection to the phone when locked in. For the extra battery juice you get with the case, I'm OK with it looking a little bland.

I have been using Mophie batteries and Zagg screen savers so it makes sense that they are now the same company I had an iPhone 16Pro Max and upgraded to the IPhone 17Pro Max recently As with all technology, as the apps evolve and upgrade capabilities, so does the drain on the batteries This charging case was just in order to keep me up and running all day With the 16Pro max (regular case) I would need to top off the charge somewhere during the day to make it until bedtime when I leave the phone on the charger all night So how does it perform? The fit is perfect and it slides on easily (but I don’t worry that it will fall off) The battery pack does add a little “heft” and thickness, but nothing that gets in the way. Since this is a “Max” version, size generally is not a problem Charging the case uses the same USB C so no complication there Charging when installed is also simple With the pass-through, it charges the phone than the case even while in use The extra battery makes it easy to make it to the end of the day with heavy phone use and the case charges itself and the phone quickly I would recommend this and anything by Mophie to friends and family

Searching for a solid case, I usually graviate toward a hard shell case that contains durability and a case you can feel confident if you drop it, it will protect your device. This is especially important with the iPhone 17 Pro Max which is lighter and has an exposed camera area larger than any other version and needs protection. The good thing about this case, it not only protects, it contains a juice pack battery charger to increase the battery life throughout the day with no worries if your phone is running out of battery power and gives you confidence that your battery will not die and you dont have to worry about mid day charging. This pack is durable, hard shell case and has the protection this phone deserves. The other thing I liked about this case, its easily snaps on to your phone and isnt hard to put on, which makes this different than other cases that are harder to snap into place and this aligns with all of the side buttons and protects the screen which is a larger landscape than any other version. Highly recommended.
