It doesn't automatically start charging. Case is very bulky and heavy. Have dropped phone several times because of the difference in weight.

Very disappointed with the design of the Mophie for the Galaxy S5. The biggest single issue is that the Mophie encases the speaker so if you are on hands free or using a mapping program for directions, it's very difficult to hear, even at top volume. How easy would it have been to design a cutout where the speaker is on the back of the phone? Truly disappointed.

If you are on the go and you have an S5 phone I would highly recommend this for you it is the best by far I love it

Bought this because I travel for business and listen to music on my phone. With this case I can listen to music and not worry about needing to recharge

This is my second one. I had one for my s3 and was so happy when they came out with the one for the s5. The new one is not as heavy as the older one.

A little bulky but necessary if you regularly run low on battery throughout the day. Great fit on phone as well.

Great to keep on my phone all the time. Just switch over to the Mophie when my phone battery runs down.
