The mophie - Juice Pack Powerstation Gen2 4000 External Battery is a great product to keep your iPhone or iPad charged up when a outlet isn't available. Outstanding charge mgt logic, the battery pack has a set number of full charges, the design engineers made sure multiple charge less than 100% are added up to count as a single charge, e.g. five 20% short charges are equal to on single charge in the charging control process! Time to charge an iPhone to 100% is less than using an outlet. If you need a zippered foam shell case... for your battery, look for the small Vivitar Digital Camera case! Price under $15.00

I purchased the powerstation a little over a year ago and it works great at first. I use it occasionally since I am an IT professional who works remotely from time to time. About 8 months ago, I was forced to travel to my office so I left the powerstation on my dresser. I've had less than 50 charges on my mophie device and now it won't hold a charge when I needed it during a conference I attended last weekend. I contacted their technical support and warranty team, but they said they couldn't help me because it was over the warranty period. What a waste of money. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY GENERIC ONES. I wouldn't be as angry if it didn't spend 5 times the amount for a brand that's supposed to be the top in the industry. I won't be suggesting these products or purchasing their products for the 600 customers I support.

I've used countless portable chargers and Mophie seems to hold the charges the longest as well as get you the true amount of power out of a full charge. Ease of use and slim design are definitely a plus.

I bought this as a charger for my Samsung Note 3 while camping. Charged it overnight and all worked well with that. Took my Note 3 from 8% upto 100% no problem but then then mophie was dead. I'd imagine that for a smaller cell phone you could squeeze two charges out of it but for a larger phablet expect only one.

I've purchased three portable chargers before but this is by far my favorite. It's size and slimness are what makes this product so great, not to mention the MAH on this thing is great! Worth every penny

I purchased the external battery while traveling, and I use it almost every day. It's a great device for anyone working in the field or traveling. It's a convenient device, and it charges rapidly. It's a great buy!

This device works as advertised. Charges my iPhone 5 quickly. I can charge my iPhone about 2-3 times before I need to recharge the battery pack. Only downside is the micro USB cable did not come with 12V adaptor.

Purchased this mophie on clearance as a gift. My niece takes it everywhere for her phone, tablet and laptop and says its worked great! Nice and compact, easy to travel with and charges fairly quickly.

This device fits the bill for an attractive, relatively thin, iPhone 6-sized power brick that I can stick in my bag and have for moments (on the train, for example) when I need a charge for my phone or iPad and can't plug in. 1 and 2.1 amp output is key to utility and useability.

Used this when I went to Disney. Great pack and was good for at least 2.5 full charges. My battery was drained each time. Small enough to carry in your front pocket. I would highly recommend this battery pack.

This is perfect. Not to big and charges perfectly.

This USB battery back up works well. It charges my phone quickly and it works. Just remember to charge it first. I thought it wasn't working. It's not precharged as most other USB chargers.
