This is the second one of these that I have purchased. It can charge an iPad with a single charge, and it's charge time is fairly decent for what it does. I usually charge it overnight for a full charge if I'm going out and about and won't have any power outlets readily available. Great for having an 'emergency' power source if you're going on a long road trip, camping, flight, etc.

I bought this to keep my phone charged longer (obviously) at 100% and it didn't last an hour before the pack was empty and my phone battery draining. Maybe the more expensive ones are better but I'd save your money. I've never had good experience with battery packs, I just wish smartphones had larger batteries that lasted longer so we wouldn't want to buy these type of things.

I've tried many, and have never had an issue with the Mophie. I own this on and the Powerstation Duo. Because both are 2-plus amps, they charge faster than most. Very durable. I have on that is 3 years old and just purchased an extra one for me on a Best Buy Deal of the Day, and three others as gifts. Given the dominance of smartphones, this is a greatly appreciated gift, and much-needed personal tech.
