Worse thing to happen, buy brand new and stuck in a different country with no power. The original unit we brought did not work, I had to spend money at the airport for a new portable charger. Best buy was nice enough for me to complete a even exchange. Now the new product work, but charges slow. The new portable charger I brought oversea was cheaper and charge faster.

I bought this for my wife because her iPhone is always low on battery. It comes in handy if you are on the go a lot.

You never know if and when you will run out of power on your Smartphone. While away from home it is using up data just downloading whatever comes along, and I'm surprised at times just how much of the battery gets used in the process. It's good to keep this extra charging unit just in case you need to boost up the charge. It's kind of like having some insurance standing by. You just need to remember to use it now and then so it doesn't remain completely idle for too long.
