I bought this item for traveling. It’s slim and not bulky. It fits nicely to the back side of my iPhone 16 Pro Max. It’s not the biggest or the fastest but it’s perfect for traveling.

Awesome little Power Bank!

he Mophie- Power Station Wireless Slim 15W Qi2-certified 5000mAh Power Bank is awesome. Especially for any smartphone user that has a magsafe compatible case on their phone. It is a really cool feeling to just stick this thing on the back of your phone and have it charge with no wires. With a 5000mAh model you can only get one full charge with most smartphones. The thing is if you are out and about and your phone battery is getting low this thing will save you with no need for an outlet or wires. You can even use it when your phone gets to 50% just to keep your phone fully charged. I have had and still have other Power banks but none of them wireless. Even though this Mophie power bank is wireless it can also charge devices with a USB-C plug on the side. The same one used to charge the Mophie Juice Pack. To test it I plugged in my Galaxy watch charger while my phone was charging wirelessly and it charged both my phone and my watch at the same time. I will note though that you can not charge your watch wirelessly with it. I tried it and it initially started to charge but the Galaxy watch did not like it and a message appeared on the screen saying it would not work. It seemed to have momentarily interfered with my watches connection as well so I would not try it. As much as I like 10,000 mAh charging packs you just can not beat how thin this one is and it makes a great travel companion. Personally, I have bigger ones if I need them but you can slip this in your pocket and be comfortable with the piece of mind knowing you have backup power. I would definitely recommend this cool little piece of tech!

The MagSafe Battery I Actually Carry Daily

I’ve been really happy with the mophie Powerstation Wireless Slim. The size is exactly what I was looking for. It’s thin and lightweight enough that I can leave it attached to my phone without it feeling bulky or awkward in my pocket. The magnetic connection is strong and stays in place during normal use, even when moving around.
For real-world charging performance, I use an iPhone 14 Pro and was honestly impressed. It charged my phone from about 20% to 80% in roughly an hour, and all the way to 100% in around two hours. After fully charging my phone, it still had enough power left to get a friend’s iPhone from about 20% to 40% before the battery pack finally died. For a slim 5,000mAh battery, that’s solid and realistic performance.
I also want to note that the power bank itself charged from 0% to 100% in about two hours when plugged into a 30W charger, which makes it easy to top off quickly between uses.
Wireless charging itself is reliable and consistent. With thinner cases or no case, heat buildup was minimal. When used with thicker phone cases, I did notice the power bank can get very warm, even hot, during charging. That said, it was never painful to hold and never felt unsafe. This seems more related to case thickness and airflow than a flaw with the battery itself.
Build quality is excellent. The aluminum outer shell feels premium and durable, and the MagSafe side uses a soft-touch textured plastic that helps prevent slipping while also protecting the phone from scratches. It feels well made and thoughtfully designed.
One thing worth mentioning is case compatibility. While the magnetic hold was strong on bare phones and most cases, I ran into a situation where it attached securely to a friend’s MagSafe-style case on a Galaxy S23 but would not charge through the case. I believe the raised camera protection prevented the battery from sitting completely flush. Removing the case or using a flatter one would likely fix this, but it’s something to be aware of with thicker or uneven cases.
At the sale price, this is an excellent value. If you want a slim, well-built magnetic wireless power bank that works reliably and doesn’t turn your phone into a brick, this is an easy recommendation.
Pros:
Very slim and lightweight
Strong magnetic hold
Solid real-world charging speeds
Fast recharge time when using a 30W charger
Premium aluminum shell
Soft-touch MagSafe backing that protects the phone
Cons:
5,000mAh capacity limits how many devices it can charge
Can get warm when used with thicker cases
May not charge through uneven or raised MagSafe-style cases

A good option, but not for everyone

I have collected a handful of Magsafe/magnetic Qi chargers over the last couple of years. And every year they seem to get more compact for the same battery capacity. The Mophie Slim 5,000 mAh battery pack is an average competitor in the space, providing some extra punch than other battery packs of similar size, while overall the design is not as well thought out as I’d have liked.
The three biggest pluses to me for this charger in particular are (1) the rubberized backing that helps in keeping it in place and not slipping around on the back of your phone, (2) the battery itself charges quickly, much faster than some others I’ve used, and (3) it can fully charge my iPhone Air which not even Apple’s own battery pack can do (though it’s only 3,149 mAh compared to the Mophie’s 5,000 mAh). It can also charge more than one device at once, by using a magsafe and the USB port, but don’t expect to fully charge any device fully using this feature.
As for things I didn’t love, well one was the squared off design which fit strangely with some of my cases. I also prefer to have the USB port on the bottom of the battery pack with the charging level indicator lights. And it’s not as thin as my Anker Slim Qi2 charger or the Apple iPhone air battery pack. If you have a standard iPhone or even iPhone Pro, the Mophie battery pack is closer in thickness to these phones.
Overall, there are plenty of options in this market for magnetic Qi2 chargers. Do some research and see which one is going to work best for your needs. This isn’t a bad option, and when on sale it’s not a bad price. But at it’s typical price of nearly $60, it’s not the best deal around.

Slim and Versatile, But Runs Hot

I've owned a bunch of MagSafe batteries over the years, but most have been fairly bulky and slow to recharge my phone. The mophie Powerstation solves these issues and even adds in some versatility with a USB-C port that can deliver power to other devices. But there are some tradeoffs -- the battery gets very hot and can be very slippery in your hands.
=== PROS ===
- The Powerstation has a 5,000 mAh battery, which mophie claims is enough to fully charge an iPhone 15 Pro. In my experience, it can charge my iPhone 17 Pro Max from 0% up to about 55% to 60%.
- This battery pack is incredibly thin -- it's about the same thickness as most modern iPhones.
- The MagSafe magnet is very strong -- it's not going to come off your phone by accident.
- This battery can charge your phone at up to 15W when connected via MagSafe or Qi2.
- The USB-C port can be used to charge other devices at up to 20W. A USB-C cable is included.
=== CONS ===
- I like the sleek look of this battery, but its aluminum exterior is very slippery. It slides around on my desk and can be hard to hold with sweaty hands.
- When in use, the battery gets very hot. If you keep it in your pocket while attached to your phone, you'll definitely feel it. The extra heat means that your phone's battery will likely charge slower than the 15W that mophie advertises.
=== OVERALL ===
This is a nice and slim battery pack, just be aware of the slippery texture and the added heat. Still, it has the slimmest design and strongest magnet of any MagSafe battery I've used.

Great-Looking Thin Charger with Fast Speeds

The Mophie Slim Power Station has a lot going for it, with only one notable downside.
Positives:
Among the several battery packs I own, this is by far the best-looking. The dark aluminum finish gives it a premium, sleek appearance—I almost wish Mophie offered it in different colors (orange would pair perfectly with the latest iPhone Pro). When attached to my iPhone, it’s nearly the same width as the phone itself, making it look like an integrated part of the device. There’s a convenient button on the bottom to check the remaining charge, and the overall size and weight are ideal—compact and not overly heavy.
With a 5,000mAh capacity, it can fully charge most smartphones once. If you need multiple charges, consider the larger 20,000mAh sibling instead. This model supports up to 15W wireless Qi charging or 20W wired charging via USB-C. While the iPhone 16 and 17 can accept up to 25W wirelessly, the 15W speed is still quite fast.
Downside:
The main drawback is heat buildup during charging—the battery reaches around 109°F. It’s unclear whether this is intentional (using the aluminum shell to dissipate heat) or a design flaw. My other Qi charger doesn’t get nearly as warm, though it’s thicker, plastic-built, and also rated for higher speeds.
Overall:
I really like this power bank. The premium design, compact size, and solid performance far outweigh the heat issue. I’ve already ordered another one as a gift for a family member!

The mophie wireless powerstation is an awesome product! I saw one of these at a trade show in Vegas and knew immediately that this is a must-have product. From being at conferences all day and having to work on my phone to days at Disney parks having to be on the app and draining my phone’s battery. This is a game changer. This wireless powerstation connects to the back of your phone using Qi power. The strong magnet attaches easily. There’s a small button on the bottom side to turn it on and little lights to let you know it’s working, along with your phone telling you it’s charging. My kid’s phone went from 13% to 80% in about 2 hours. Now, that pretty much drank up all the juice but that’s phenomenal and exactly what you want. It’s convenient and easy to use. It comes with a charging cable that you can also use to charge your phone if you don’t have wireless charging – but note you may need an adapter depending on your phone model. The only con I can think of is it’s not light. It’s not as heavy as my phone, but it’s close. I think that it’s worth it though to carry this around and have it for back up when needed

Thin and two ways of charging

Really nice wireless power bank. It feel very thin and compact and sturdy. One side feels almost like brushed aluminum but I'm sure its some sort of plastic. The other side has a soft silicone covering, to avoid scratching your phone (and this is the only con about it, that silicone backing is a lint magnet!). That side also houses the magnet and its where it attaches to your magsafe device (or any other device that has some sort of magnetic wireless charging capability, I also tried it on an Android device and it worked great).
You can charge it via its type C USB port (which also serves as a charging port to your devices, fast charging). There is a small button to press and activate the LEDs that will tell you the charge level of the power bank. It can charge your devices either wirelessly via the magnet or via cable from its type C USB port. It will give my phone a complete full charge draining it almost completely. It charged my phone wirelessly even with it having a case, but mine is a very thin case, so YMMV.
If you are looking for a very compact wireless-magsafe compatible charge, this one is a very good one!

Battery charges up fast and very slim, charges an iPhone 15 pro max fast and I wouldn’t notice it in my pocket except that it gets warm, which is the only reason I gave this a 4 star instead of 5. I dunno any products out there that could match the speed and the size though. Great battery

Disappointed in output for Mophie

Mophie is a go-to brand for sleek, attractive power banks for iPhone. Since the original “juice box” power brick iPhone case, I have found the products powerful and dependable. As the phone evolved to include wireless charging capability and MagSafe, Mophie’s products evolved as well and became less obtrusive and lighter with each iteration. The old juice boxes carried two full charges in a case that plugged into the power port and double the size and heft of the phone, but they allowed full days of charges on trips or outings away from a car or outlet. You always knew you had a couple days banked in that little brick and it couldn’t fall off!
The slim and light MagSafe Mophie is pleasing enough to use while still using the phone. And the magnet is strong enough not to slide off. But it’s a pretty weak battery. The charge it does have comes across disappointingly slow. I went from 69 percent to 80 percent in twenty minutes, which is only an 11 percent increase really. And after charging to 100 percent from 69, the fully charged Mophie was completely spent. So much so it would not even register an LED. I charged it fully and tried again the next day with a 54 percent phone. It got to 93 percent and died altogether again.
So while this slim brick fits in a pocket nicely, it’s not what I would choose for a backup. I want a power brick that will give me at least one full charge on my 17 Pro, not an anemic 30-40. I’m not sure if maybe Mophie rated this a “one full charge” based on a previous model or what, but I would not recommend. There are better options out there.

Too Hot to Handle!

This has a nice form. Slim, visually appealing, barely noticeable in hand or on desk. You can check how much battery it has left by simply pressing a button on the side. That’s about where the “like” ends for me. I normally like mophie products but I don’t recommend this.
This thing gets HOT! Hot is an understatement. It will burn a hole through your soul if you aren’t careful. It’s quite scary how incredibly hot it gets. Especially, if you have to use it while on the charger. I’m quite concerned for the phone while it is charging. Especially on a warm day or in your car or anywhere where a freezer isn’t close by. I’m concerned at how it may affect the life of the phones battery after a couple of uses. And I’m quite surprised that the internal temp warning message hasnt popped up on the screen.
Now if you’re in a pickle and need to add a bit of juice to your phone this isn’t bad as it does what it says, but if you’re looking for speed, this isn’t it. I allowed my battery to die to see how long it would take to restart and charge my phone. And each time it took so long I forgot my starting time. I was never able to get a full charge of 100% phone battery power using this charging brick. Which again if you’re in a pickle and need enough to get your phone going than it does its job. Each time my iPhone 15 pro max would charge to 74% before the brick would be completely out of juice.
I would still use this if I had to use my phone all day for content and needed a backup because of its slim lightweight factor, but I wouldn’t recommend.

The Mophie Powerstation Slim is nice and easy to slip into a bag or pocket, so it’s very convenient to carry around. It will give your iPhone some extra power when you need it, but I noticed it gets pretty warm while charging and doesn’t quite provide a full charge. Great for light use, but not the best choice if you need stronger performance.
Pros:
• Slim and lightweight
• Easy to take on the go
• Good for a quick boost of power
Cons:
• Gets hot during charging
• Doesn’t fully charge an iPhone
• Not ideal for heavy use

I typically bring this when I’m out in the field at a construction site and outlets are not around. It charges my phone to the max capacity and stays on tight. Havent had a problem with it yet, but it can get hot when you’re starting a charge on your phone from a low percentage. Nothing too bad. I highly recommend.
