This is the third Mophie battery case I've purchased; the first was absolutely wonderful (iPhone 4). So when I received the iPhone 5s, I didn't wait and purchased another. But the second case was faulty out of the box. I contacted Mophie who took two weeks to replace AFTER I sent back the damaged product (again, out of the box failure!). It took them two days to confirm the failure and the rest was getting a replacement unit out to me. Then the replacement I received was NOT a new case, but a refurbished case!! This refurbished case worked but the mute on/off button was very "sloppy" and often I would switch the case on or off and the phone was not switched because of the "sloppy" contact. Also, the screen lock button was "soft" and you had to press very hard for the phone to lock. So not long after the space pack came out and I purchased it - hoping the poor quality of the juice pack refurbished unit was a fluke because the first product was soooooo wonderful! Nope. The Space pack battery provides about 2 hours more than the phone alone. I haven't changed a single way in which I use the phone, charge the phone and case, or if wi-fi etc is on or off. Literally, took off the refurbished juice pack case and put on the new space pack - the battery extended life is dismal, worse than the juice pack refurbished product. So after a day or two I decided to put back on the refurbished case and I had extended battery life just as I experienced before. Used it for a day or two and then put back on the space pack - didnt extend the battery life by more than a couple hours. Same situation, same poor results. So I contacted Mophie received instructions on how to use the product, as if I didnt read the instructions. Useless and same uncaring attitude as when I complained about getting a refurbished product after receiving a faulting product out of the box - they dont care. So while I really loved the first case and recommended it to many people.....I wont buy another and tell everyone to stay away.

Doubles the battery life and the memory - and changing the connector from the lighting to a micro USB is a bonus.

I'm like others who rated 3 stars, it did not live up to the $$. the recharge is weak. My phone will run down to 20% and I will get a max of 70% charge where it states it will charge back to 100% from 10%, not the case. App is not user friendly. I have a mac and managing files etc. is not easy the only easy part are the photos nothing else. So the extra space is really useful for photos and videos that is about it. I would not recommend this model for the price. The cheaper one maybe. However, it is durable and it does feel and look good.

Battery life is good. Will last 2 to 3 days unless playing a lot of games. Would like to have had more color options. Nice and sturdy and surprisingly lite.

I've had two different mophie space packs. They were both great as far as the battery life extension was concerned. However, both of them developed the same problem where the charger started falling out and wouldn't take a charge because the receptacle on the phone either moved or bent slightly. To charge this much for a product like this, you don't expect such shoddy components. The first time I chalked it up to a fluke or something I must have done. With the second one I was very careful with it and had the same problem.

Doesn't charge the phone all the way. No sound on the video. Dies really quickly.
