I have heard some negative reviews, it was on sale and I bought it. I loved the movie, not sure what the negative reviews were for

Good movie if you want to really enjoy the story line read the book first.

I have been a Peter Jackson fan since "The Frighteners", so, when I saw he had been involved with this movie I had to check this out.

It was better than expected, even if it didn’t get any love the theater.

There was alot of backlash on this movie but the special effects are top notch with a decent story in my opinion. Glad I purchased.
