This movie is a great addition to the Mortal Kombat universe. It's bookended by some of the best martial arts fights. Just about all your favorite characters are there. But just like the video game this is based off of, it's NOT for kids.

Excellent movie, this was better then any of the other attempts made for this title, I can’t wait to see if they come out with a 2nd MK , it does set it up for a sequel, so it would be absolutely amazing if they did make a sequel.

I heard a lot of bad reviews about this, but I thought it was very entertaining! This is based on a video game so it isn't supposed to be Gone With the Wind, it's very bloody and the fight scenes are great and I loved the fatalities!

A Movie that is quality fun and not as the 90s movie. If you want action, a great plot, and a fun time in a movie, this is recommended. No need to watch the trailer, just purchase and enjoy.

Mortal Kombat is always a fun ride for me I enjoyed the movie in the theater and I loved how Best buy made it look just as nice with a nice looking slipcover I will always seek out good movies initially at Best buy.

This is an awsome movie.. I really like it! Im a big fan of mortal kombat! Love the action and the gore! Just like the games.. Been playin the game way back till now, I have the other mortal kombat movies all well.

The special effects really make this movie worth watching. Story line has roughly the same elements as the previous films, but the changes are pleasantly filled with better actions segments. It is worth watching if you are a fan!

Amazing movie, originally saw it on hbomax and knew i had to buy it when it became available. Great storyline, intro to characters, & amazing fight scenes. Super action packed.

If you grew up in the 90s; this movie resonates. If you play the updated video game on PlayStation, the fight scenes resemble the game. I’ve watched it twice and an overall solid effort.

I liked the original Mortal Kombat but this one is so much better. Not surprising because so much tech has progressed since the 1st one. Anyway, this is an awesome movie

I would put 4.5 but it wont let me. No movie is perfect. We enjoyed this one. A lot of people didnt like it bc its a starter movie. A new series. The start of a new series we will be looking forward to seeing

This is a great movie all around. They did a wonderful job translating this story line and including iconic fight scenes from the game.

This is a good retelling of the Mortal Kombat story. Nothing like the original, but, very well told, and a lot of action to say the least. So get the popcorn ready!

Mortal Kombat! Finally some fatalities that gamers can be proud of, finally redeeming itself with great finishes and cheesy puns, this flick deserves a sequel.

Good reboot of the franchise! Hope we get additional installments - the original movies were good for their time, but the fight scenes here feel less forced, and the effects are pretty great.

This is one of the best Mortal Kombat movies so far. It has a good story with memorable characters. The action and special effects are high quality.

Cool movie. The action is on point and the special effects are very nice. Definitely hope they make a sequel. A must have for the collection. This remake is very good.

Very nice reboot of the MK movie franchise. The story telling was much improved. I would definitely recommend this title to any fan of the MK movies, or action/martial arts/fantasy genre.

…it’s Mortal Kombat, need I say more? Light years better than the two from the 90’s, which were decent movies for the time. But this is way better.
