broken after multiple use. design is bad. not recommend

Bad fit. Bad reception. Bad battery. Bad overall!!

Motorola makes the BEST bluetooth products. The Boom is another example of that. It has great sound quality and a really long range - you can set down your phone & walk all over the house with continued strong Bluetooth. Good noise cancellation while driving as well.

I never thought I would still need a bluetooth. This 1 did the trick. It was easy to set up. Plus, it's small.

I was researching the web and BestBuy for a while, I kept ending up looking at this model, so I decided to go for it, as I had a different Motorola model years ago. I came pretty much fully charged, pairing it with my iPhone was very easy, I did not even have to type in the code numbers, iPhone does not yet support NFC. You can charge via micro USB directly through a power outlet or use a micro USB/USB (not included) to charge it via your computer or in the car. I am disappointed that the charging cable is not removable from the charger. Cheap on Motorola's part. But everyone these days might own these cables anyways. I am in general very uncomfortable with these earpieces, the perfect one for me is obviously not yet made, but I am for now going with the "on ear" piece. I like the voice controlled caller announcement, if you have the caller's number in your contacts, it will read the number to you, but, and that's why I might turn that feature off: I have specific ringtones assigned to specific people, and you hear that ringtone through the Bluetooth device. Having the phone very close by and the device in your ear, when I tested, the ringer of my phone overturned what I heard in my ear, so you definitely have to turn the ringer volume on your phone down, or the caller announcement is not audible. For now I am satisfied, as it will do the job for me, but I am still looking for something different.

Best earpiece on the market for audio and comfort and range, under a set of sound suppressors (ear muffs). Extremely easy to use and link to your phone. However, the flip mechanism is very fragile and doesn't last long. It breaks off and then the earpiece is unusable. I have a pile of broken ones but I keep buying this earpiece for the ease of use and sound quality.

The audio on the Boom is awesome, but the piece that fits over the ear is was very uncomfortable for me. It's made of a harder plastic that isn't as pliable as in other models (e.g. H730) and doesn't sit on the ear as well. The fit is subjective, so if you're just looking for quality audio, this is a great product.

I purchased this Apr 18 and less than 6 months later the boom broke off. It is made of plastic. The boom has a square shaped switch that the boom rotates when it opens. This boom easily cracks at the thin point of the hinge and then the device is rendered useless. Motorola is going to replace my device under warranty but it has been more than a month and they don't have any in stock because, "They are upgrading the quality of the device". Obviously this has a problem they are aware of so wait until the next version. So I have a choice to either buy a different model or brand or ... wait until they get around to fixing the problem and sending me a new one. Motorola was straight up with me and acknowledged that the device was defective but they are not sending me another unit or a better unit, just nothing until they restock. They won't refund my money because I bought it from a 3rd party "BestBuy". It did work great until the boom broke off. I have had these type products in the past and the booms are often the worst part but it had awesome range when it was operational. I gave it one star because I don't recommend you going out and suffering my fate unless you handle it super careful and keep it in a little box or something to protect it in your pocket and open it like it is made of glass. Very fragile!

Had a similar Motorola wireless Bluetooth worked great for 6yrs then boom broke. Hope this one last as long. Size is nice small great Bluetooth no distortion very clear so far so good.

Does anyone know if we can purchase extra hooks for earpiece?, mine broke and now don't know what to do, how am I going to use the headset without a hook to hang it from, someone help please. Love the Bluetooth works great, I'd definitely recommend it to a friend.

I love this little earpiece, it is small and discreet .the clarify and range is great, I can listen to my music..it announces the number of the incoming caller, and battery life. I have NFC on my Samsung galaxy s4 so the pairing was a breeze. My only complaint is that I wish it announced the incoming caller name instead of number but I can live with that.

This is my second Motorola Boom. The boom on the first unit snapped off where the mic folds out. So I thought I would try another one because the quality of the call was so great. BAD mistake. The second one broke in the same place. I wouldn't recommend this product unless you just never close the mic. Very flimsy flip design.

This headset provides good sound and mic quality for the price. The earpiece is uncomfortable, however.

I have owned many bluetooth devices before. From the ones that cost $100+ and I tell you, this Bluetooth beats all of them so far. I had this for 2 weeks and was having doubts since it is priced so low. I buy products thinking the more expensive the better "WRONG" . This device works, the distance is amazing, the battery is great, the pairing is awesome, the comfort is one of a kind, and it looks good. One thing I do not like is the voice alert when two devices are paired and one goes online when you are on a call, as it gets in the middle. I say don't shoot it down until you try it, you will be amaze.

It says it will announce the caller by name and you can answer by saying "answer" or ignore the call by saying "ignore" but mine will not so it. Minw only announces the caller by their number. I wish I could get mine to answer by caller name.

Over the years I have owned several bluetooth - and a few of them have been different 'model numbers' of this exact same bluetooth. Not the best quality - as it will break - the little flip piece will stop working - or break off.. but get that warranty and you are all set! I have bought more than I can count - or rather - exchanged...

Was a little skeptical at first but after a couple days of use, its a solid bluetooth with good sound quality. People on the other end say I sound normal so for the price you can't beat it. This device streams media and music flawlessly and you can connect multiple devices. Great buy
