Better than Galaxy Note Edge
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received this phone by accident after I smashed my Samsung Galaxy S 7 edge. I was disappointed, but had to activate it for use while waiting on the correct phone. But, I feel in love. I bought the projector and speaker mods and now am so excited I can't wait to see what's next. The projector mod alone makes the phone worth it. The phone is quick, responsive, and has an excellent feel. Great pictures with the cameras. I could go on and on. Just give it a try, I'm sure you will love it.

Awesome Device - Rivals the first Droid
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To be honest I had really lost a lot of respect with Motorola with the Turbo and Turbo 2. Not only was the phone lack luster but the call quality was horrible. Since the purchase of the Z force my faith is being restored. I am certainly not an apple or Samsung fan and have always been partial to Motorola. But this device is quick, battery seems good. The display is very impressive. The mods change the whole face of the phone. I can go to the garage snap in the jbl speaker and listen to some of my favorite tunes. Or my wife and I can set out on the deck with the projector and watch whatever we want while hanging out with our houseful of puppies. Seems to me its hit every aspect I was looking for!!!

Strong, sturdy, fast...MODS
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this for my wife after she broke her Note 5 three times in less than a year. It was either this or a $50 flip phone. :) This is a very nice phone and we now have most of the mods, which work great. the only complaint we have is that you have to have the battery pack mod for wireless charging and with the battery pack on, wireless charging both the battery pack and phone takes some time.

Great alternative to Galaxy Note 7
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very responsive keyboard over the Note 7. Opens apps and browser very fast. Love the mods. No complaints. If Motorola keeps this up I won't be going back to Samsung.

Good Attachments, Poor Phone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the phone about 7 months ago. I had a droid before and liked it. I then had a Samsung and wasn't a big fan so I went back to Motorola. The add on features like the speaker is nice for listening to music, but that is at home. At work I have to listen with headphones. This phone does not have a normal headphone jack, it is similar to a USB connector. After everyday Monday - Friday use, the USB connector has become worn out. If I move at work, the music will switch from headphones to speaker. The turbo charger is good, but with the USB worn out I have to make sure it is connected properly. The USB attachment that is needed to listen with headphones cannot be ordered and is only available when purchasing the phone. Cannot wait to have the phone paid off so I can look for a new phone. Would not recommend for anyone that needs for everyday headphone use.

Phone too slippery
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Without a case, this phone is much to slippery. It's slicker than snot on a glass doorknob. Buy a case to hold it or you'll drop it once too many times and crack the glass.

Great Phone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm very pleased with this phone. It is very responsive to my needs as a power phone user. I think the quick charge function is great. I can use my phone with screen on for multiple hours and in a few minutes I'm back to full charge again.

Perfect Phone!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had the opportunity to own many phones and this one is the coolest phone I've had to date. This is the first phone for me that has done more than just being a phone. For me it is a complete multi-media device. If you have the extra money buy the projector and with that you have a little movie theater in your pocket wherever you go!

Great phone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Despite the great functions I have had on this phone it is tough... Left the phone on my car with the magnetic battery attached and found it down the road with scratches and damage but nothing too serious and external battery still attached.. glad to see the magnets work even with the stress of falling from a moving vehicle

Moto Z - should be called the Android dumb phone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I switched from my perfectly good LG V20 phone during the latter part of 2018 to the Moto Z. I chose this brand because years ago when I owned a Moto Razr flip phone which was truly great. From the start there have been issues with this phone and finally, in frustration I've decided to submit a review to warn others who may be considering purchasing this model phone. Whoever designed the phone obviously did not consider that the majority of their customers would not be techies. Why on earth do I need to insert a pin in the phone to extract the SIM card?? Why isn't there a separate port to plug in my headset? Why do I have to use an adaptor? This is just another piece of equipment for me to misplace!! Not to mention that whenever the battery dies, I will need to have it replaced by a technician as there is no way that I can open the phone and insert a new one. Now to the operational defects. It is highly frustrating to use the phone to place calls. After keying in the number there is a long wait for the number being called to ring. Finally, when it does ring and you are engaging in conversation at some point the phone will either switch itself to mute or place you on hold without your doing so. This happens even if a Bluetooth is being used and the phone itself is not being held. At other times the party to whom you are speaking is unable to hear you even if you can hear them. Why? ….because all on its own the screen shifts from the phone app to some other app. It should not be that you cannot converse unless you are on the phone screen. So, if I am speaking to someone and move over to some other app, like WhatsApp messages, or my email, then the person with whom I am speaking is unable to hear me. This alone makes this phone worthless for modern day communications. After one year of use, the buttons on the side to turn the phone on and off would not work so I exchanged the phone for another one with my insurance. The replacement phone has the same shortcomings so it is definitely not the case of a defective unit. Whatever you do, DO NOT BUY the Moto Z.

Excellent phone except but it crashes Android Auto
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The phone itself is great in essentially every way. However, I've exchanged it once already and both phones have not been able to reliably work with Android Auto on my Pioneer 4200 NEX head unit. Came from a Moto X Pure Edition that worked flawlessly with the head unit. It is basically a deal breaker for me that the phone will not work properly with Android Auto. Figure it out Moto and Verizon...or how about not release a flagship with these problems
