This order was for my wife but I bought 1 for me in November 2016 which is now worthless because the battery only lasts about 3 hours with no use and WiFi - location and BT all turned off. If I make a call or a text the battery won't last 2 hours. My wife is already seeing her battery life degrade after only 5 months. Also the camera takes good pictures but has no settings like image size or date/time. This phone is definitely not a premium phone.

After having the z play and force last year kind of felt like the phone was rushed.and why a company hasn't made a case to fit at least the battery mod is beyond me.

Ok for the price. Not great but not bad. It had a wifi not connecting issue for some while but some update resolved it. Now it is ok.

Great cheap phone but menu buttons can sometimes be unresponsive.

I bought this phone, within 3 months it cracked. all i did was walked from outside winter to indoors and the cold weather somehow cause the screen to crack. it was not dropped nor mistreated. best buy wanted me to pay full price to replace. bb is horrible agt certain things. especially the one in Fayetteville Because it is a military area and they are the only ones who deal with electronics.

My son has only had the phone for one month and it is completely dead. It wont turn on or do anything. Very disappointed.

had it less than a year, would randomly turn off, and freeze . Just terrible phone

I got it today and it is really thin and light! I get a free speaker in the mail and overall the phone is really fast. I took pictures and they look great. It's the only phone I've seen with a real flash on the front so that seems cool. I'm definitely going to try it out tonight. Plus the price is exactly what I'm looking for.

Originally got it for my son, but he wanted an iPhone. I was able to use it on AT&T after being paid off. It is a great phone tho with powerful processing, awesome camera, and great sound. I would compare it to an iPhone 7.

I love this phone....i bought it a week ago and love it...only thing is the front facing camera, if you move just a little bit,of it's blurry but other than that that....lovr it...Iidn't get a free speaker because I bought it from VERIZON...How do I go about doing that?? Also what are the Mods?

Bought the Moto Z2 Play outright. $408+tax. I'm using it on Cricket Wireless because this phone is unlocked to three of the four major carrier networks. Camera is the only thing that doesn't get 5 stars, but it is better than average in good lighting conditions. Battery life is superb. Super Amoled panel is gorgeous. Great RF and antenna setup.

I've owned several brands and models. This phone compares to them all. Great screen, great battery life, smooth version of Android, fingerprint reader is multi-proposed, and the phone is thin.

Bought Z2 play as my first android (couldn't bring myself to pay $800 for new iphone). Phone is thin with a nice large screen. Only couple disappointing points are the photo quality and speaker quality. The speaker quality may be poor because the second day having my phone there is a piece loose in the phone by the ear piece. I will need to get that replaced soon and maybe that'll change the speaker sound quality. I've had the phone now almost three weeks. The fact I haven't taken it back for my iphone means it's good enough to get me by day-to-day with my typical smartphone activities. As for the moto mods, I sent in the rebate info and just received an email saying my provided info had been denied. I've called Motorola and have to resubmit the same information. So hoping the second time around, I'll actually get approved. The mods was the number 1 reason why I decided on this particular android phone.

what a beast, hands down, ultra thin, has a fast charging option

Had this phone for a few weeks and love it. Easily competes with high end devices.

Its a ok phone. its rear camera sucks. Now i had a nexus 6 i wish i kept the nexus 6. the speed sucks too. It lags out between apps and pulling up the keyboard and i do not have many aps installed. i have tried everything clearing app cache etc and i regret buying this phone. I even went as far as factory resetting and that fixed nothing. i wish i didn't buy this phone and i regret it all the way piece of junk. ims ure the force edition may be way better but i will not spend anymore money on a moto z2 force or z2 lag edition nothing. worst phone i have ever owned and i wish i could get rid of it now

This Motorola phone is unlike the other motorola phones. I am coming off the Motorola Z Droid 2016 edition and there was no lag in switching between applications. In this phone you have to wait a minimum of 3 to 5 seconds before the dialer app can be opened. Even on text messging the messaging app freezes 3 -5 seconds before it shows the keyboard or the keyboard becomes responsive. I have a Samsung galaxy S6 which is so much faster than this phone. This is really disappointing in a 500$ phone. Hence I would strongly recommend to stay away from this phone and possibly other Motorola phones if they have the same big problem.

This is more of a customer service issue than with the phone. I love this phone and the idea of the Mods, but if you are thinking that you will be receiving a JBL speaker mod in the mail for purchasing this phone at BESTBUY, think again. I have tried numerous time to redeem the free speaker thru the Motorola website as instructed. It informs me that there is no current promotion available for my IMEI number. Contacted Motorola (speaking to 3 different people) and they all inform me that BestBuy is not an authorized retailer and therefore the promotion is not valid on a phone purchased from them. Will be returning phone.

Had phone 5 days. Bluetooth did not work. Very poor battery life. Would not last 24 hours before needing recharge.
