They didn't have anything I may have need like the Geek from Best Buy would have. This was the worst experience I ever had with Best Buy! I had Simon and his partner from Geek Squad and were always great. They explain everything and how it works before they leave my two previous homes. I requested to have him and they said they can't do that and got me upset! I want this done right. I ask to send someone back out and they said they have to send the 3rd party back. I don't want that!

poor service, not professional at all

I was never contacted and had to call to find out he would be late. He didn't show up until after 8pm, then didn't have all of the tools necessary and kept trying to get me to return the one I purchased and buy another one online and pay him again to come back to hang it. very unprofessional and I was very disappointed in Best Buy. It was so late (10pm) and I asked him to leave and the TV was mounted but the cables and boxes were not "hidden" as for what the service I paid for.

Beware of Third Party Vendors!

I was told by Best Buy that my installation window was from 7am to 1pm. It turns out that the installation was passed on to a third party vendor. When nobody showed up by 1:10pm, it took 40mins for Best Buy to track down the vendor. I was then informed their window was between 9am and 3pm. By 6:30pm the vendor still had not arrived. Tracking down anyone who could assist me took another hour. I finally cancelled the installation and returned everything I purchased for the tv mounting.

Amazing TV and service from the Geeks

Nicholas Ruppert and his companion (sorry do not remember his name, but he has a sweet beard) are phenomenal.

Only one of two TVS was installed

Spent many hours holding to understand what’s going on, of now avail abd it was rescheduled on 29th. Incredible and worthless customer service, no accountability, look into your records and have someone higher up call me immediately to apologize and have it scheduled rightaway . In the meantime, I already paid of the service, how does it make any sense? It is unethical as well. I am reporting to BBB abd credit card company

Nightmare Installation

The van could not handle a snow event, so they couldn't get to the house on the first attempt. When they finally did arrive, the television wall mount that extended out from the wall that I specifically asked if it could be used could not be installed on a solid brick wall because of the potential of sagging over time. Then when the TV was taken out of the box the screen was cracked. Then on the third try for installation, it was finally installed on the existing mount. Very disappointed in what is usually exceptional service.

TV mount install

I explained it all to the store employee. I explained what waoukd be needed, the type of bolts, etc and the employee put it all on the order in the computer. When installer arrived, he said he didn’t have anything to drill into stone, and couldn’t install it. I did get my money refunded in a timely manner though. I got someone else to do it later. I’m sure they are good under other circumstances.

Don’t!

Then when a technician finally showed up, they said they didn’t know how to mount my TV. I had to end up having a family member come and mount it! Which they did with no issue! This is not a service, I would ever try to utilize again! They contract the work out to others!

Incomplete advertizing

Installation never showed and was rescheduled.

When we called the Geek Squad customer service we were told “it happens” and that we would need to reschedule. No answers as to why we never received notice or a phone call.... Also talked to a call rep named Amira who was extremely abrasive and rude. She blatantly refused to transfer me to a supervisor after repeated requests telling me too bad too sad and hanging up on me.

Geek did not installed the tv the way I wanted
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely awful service... basically they did the job the easiest way to them but the real way that I wanted... they told me that they couldn't put the cords inside the wall so I had to hire an electrician to finish the job, and guess what.? The problem that they said to finish the task wasn't there at all, the electrician finish the job in 20 minutes, so basically I paid for the same job twice...

It's Mounted

Holes in my wall.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So...I think one of the installers didn't tell the other (or the other just forgot) that I was planning to buy a soundbar in the future. I wanted to make sure there was clearance for it, but it was drilled too low and they had to redo it, which left 4 large holes in my wall as well as the imprints of the mount being pressed firmly to my wall. So much for paying someone to "do it right". Had to patch and paint, but it's still noticeable when we pull out the TV.

Didn't know what to do

The first person they sent out said they had been doing the job of installation consultant for only 3 months. She said she didn't know what to do in this case, and she would have installation team sent out in a few days. They gave several different options and said "it wasn't impossible, but it would be highly difficult". That didn't instill a lot of confidence in their ability, so I hired a local audio visual company to do the work instead.

Geek squad installed the tv on the wall efficientl

They also did a lousy job in demonstrating the use of the new remote. The staff at the store also did a lousy job when I requested that agents schedule another visit to our residence to do what they didn't do at the first, initial visit.

Broke my tv that was being replaced

Very unprofessional. Tried calling them and no answer. They know they broke my tv because they laid it flat on its screen on my couch. Not supposed to lay a tv flat on its screen either! I need compensation for my broken 65 inch Smart Vizio! Call me back ASAP!!!
