The Moza R5 Racing Simulator Wheel and Pedal bundle provides an amazing and elevated experience to car simulation games. It definitely takes a while to set-up and get going, but once it is up and running, there is not going back to control or keyboard racing.
What’s included?
Included in the package are the steering wheel, wheel base, pedals, desktop clamp, connections for power, pedals to base, and base to PC, plus 2 small bags of hardware.
*Setup*
The physical set-up was time consuming but straightforward. It took me about 20 minutes to unscrew and readjust pedals, mount the base, and set up steering wheel to base properly. I used the video on the Moza website because it was easier to understand than the manual. The manual instructions are tricky to follow, plus there is no specification on which hardware to use of the two bags provided, and no details on what each is even for. I still have a bag left and am not sure what to do with it.
After this I downloaded and installed the Moza software, which took about another 10 mins, then had to calibrate steering wheel, pedals, download an update, and calibrate again. Having done all this, I found I could not play anything, because no game was picking it up. I tried it with Forza Horizons 5 and then downloaded various games to no avail.
This is where my advice comes in if you chose to buy this. First off, I became aware that something in the setup had gone wrong and the software had improperly installed. Thus, I had to delete the Moza software from the PC and reinstall. After this, I was able to play it with limited function, the pedals showed up on the Moza software but not on any game. I was able to map the wheel on games and use buttons for throttle and break. So, if there are any issues, ensure that everything is properly installed. Secondly, and important if you own a Windows PC, go to Control Settings>USB Device> Moza R5 Base and calibrate you pedals and wheel. I found a video by Sim Racing Pal detailing this and this did the trick.
After having done this, I have been able to play on Forza Horizons 5 using my XBOX PC Gamepass with no issue, as well as RaceRoom with no issues. All I have to do is map under the game’s settings. For RaceRoom, it seems to reset every time I go back in, even though I launch it through the Moza app, which is linked to Steam.
*Quality of Product*
The quality of this steering wheel and pedals is outstanding. It feels like a real steering wheel, and it feels incredibly durable. The base provides incredible vibrations and moves the steering wheel depending on the terrain as if it were a real car. It registers steering with amazing sensitivity and truly gives a life-like simulation. Likewise, the pedals are accurately sensitive to nuance in acceleration, deceleration, and break. The pedals can be shifted to desired spacing, and the height of the pedal can be adjusted. They are lightweight sometimes the whole thing will lean forward when I use the pedal unless I keep a foot on it. I also use it on tile floor, which makes it slide around. I am thinking of buying a rubber mat to keep it in place but that still won’t solve the issue with it leaning forward. It is also best to use a lockable or nonwheeled chair with this.
*App*
The Moza software severs various purposes. It can calibrate each individual component, shows that everything is functional and connected, shows which games it is compatible with and ready to launch, record stats, and much more.
*Conclusion*
Okay, so this was a pain to install and troubleshoot, it took me days to figure out, but it was well worth it. There is not a single person in my house that is not constantly vying for a turn at it. Whether racing or taking on a leisurely drive, this Moza provides such a fun immersive experience that even my kids think they can drive in real life now. It is smooth, responsive, and realistic.

The Moza-R5 racing Simulator Wheel and Pedal Bundle for PC in black is a game changer for anyone who likes racing games like me. This setup takes you up to a whole different level of gameplay by increasing the realism exponentially. It is not just that you actually have a real steering wheel and pedals you also get real-time feedback through the steering wheel in situations that you would feel it in while driving in real life. It is amazing how far gaming technology and hardware have come. The level of integration is impressive and so is the Moza hardware. The steering wheel has every imaginable control option you could think of and it is built like a tank and feels very solid, linked to its base that can be mounted to your desk. Then there is the all-steel pedal assembly also very solid and of good size for an adult male. Moza includes all of the cables and wires needed to get set up and once that is done, you are ready to move on to the software.
Once you go to the Moza website and download the Moza Pithouse software and install it a process that will take some time. You will be ready to get it hooked up to your game or games. In the Moza Pitstop software, there is a list of compatible games on the right side. Games that you have installed will be available to create links to their location on your PC. You can use Steam of Windows Xbox Live for games and there is a good list of compatible games. The whole process is time-consuming, especially if you need to download a game and install it. However, once you get it all set up, you are ready for a next-level driving experience for gaming.
If you are someone who loves racing but can not actually do it in real life this is the next best thing and it is very entertaining. I would say the Moza R5 is a great entrance point, but you can also add on to it with other accessories if you wish to. I believe it is worth the money because it is well executed and very well made. I think it will hold up to a lot of abuse and last a long time.

Very high quality for the price. Variety of calibration settings for wheel feel with MOZA Pit Stop, and super easy plug and play no tedious setups. Just pop on the wheel, turn the base on secure the clamps (if using them) and get going. 5.5Nm is stronger than I expected. No regrets!

This is my first steering wheel pedal set from this brand. But I have always heard a good things and this is definitely not a beginner set. This is a step up from beginners. I would say that this is a more real life feel I have a Corvette with the paddle shifters and the steering wheel and paddle gears feel very similar. The buttons on the steering wheel are easy to reach for my hands and the reactive steering wheel is not too jerky. It’s easy to install, especially for any style table however, if you have a lip that’s Hangs over and retracts like a style G it might be a little difficult, but you can rig it to mount the steering wheel. My only concern in this is where it loses a star is that the pedals do not allow for hard stamping because it will move with the pressing Too hard of a pedal. If I press too hard, the whole pad will move forward or up that is the only reason I have removed one star. Otherwise this entire system meets all my expectations and I really enjoy using it over for other brands.

I’ve been using the Mosa R5 for sim racing and honestly, it’s incredible. The feeling of being in the car is just everything — the feedback, the responsiveness, the quality, it all blows you away. The only reason I returned it was because I loved it so much that I wanted to upgrade to the absolute best version. Seriously, this wheel makes racing feel real, and it’s worth every penny.

Excellent product for entry and intermediate racing enthusiasts. The Moza racing ecosystem is efficient and easily upgradable. The direct drive wheel base allows for extreme customization of the steering curves for different class vehicles. Highly recommend this to anybody looking to get into sim racing.

This is hands-down the best budget setup. 5nm is perfect for anyone starting out wanting a more realistic feal. Compared to other brands with higher prices, you're getting the same if not better quality

Awesome wheel so far! The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't come with a clutch pedal like basically every other wheel and pedal bundle (except Fanatec that I know of) but while the other wheels like Logitech come with a clutch pedal, the wheel strength, and overall build quality seem... lacking by comparison to this wheel. Also that best buy doesn't carry the separate clutch pedal, or more than 1 or 2 of these specific wheel bundles in stock at a time, but its fairly priced on the MOZA Racing website! So at the end of the day this lacks a clutch pedal, but surpasses other brands in quality for not much more in price!!!

Started with Logitech G920. Tried R5. World of difference. If you are used to geared force feedback there is a learning curve with direct drive but worth it. If you're thinking about any Logitech reconsider and get R3 for +$50 (+$100 if you must have Xbox compat) But if you got budget get R5

This wheel and pedal setup will bring you straight up into man hood! Even your 10 year old will grow a Burt Renyolds mustache in the first 5mins! MOZA makes the best Sim racing products! Go to the MOZA site and get the clutch / shifter / Brake Mod! COME ON - YOU KNOW YOU NEED THIS! Love it! Easy to setup! So much setup options in MOZAS PITHOUSE! Buying with best buy and backing it up with the Geek Squad protection makes it easy to warranty in store if something happens - Which nothing will because it MOZA!

Solid wheel. Took me a bit to get the force feedback to work but support was decent and with everything working it's pretty legit. At the price point I would still like the software to be a bit more intuitive but figuring stuff out is part of the fun of PC gaming anyway.
As for the build quality and the in game feel it's awesome.
Already see my self getting hook and buying more accessories.

I absolutely love this thing. I upgraded from the cheaper Logitech ones and I regret not starting my sim racing set up with this Moza R5 bundle. The wheelbase’s torque is powerful and may even hurt wrists on certain rally games. I mostly play F1 now, and the controls feel amazing. It took a weekend to relearn button mappings, other than that this wheel feels natural to use. Do yourself a favor and upgrade to this, or if it’s your first time into sim racing, consider the R3 bundle.

Much like PC itself, there will be some tinkering with settings, but once you get that set up, it will enhance racing games and driving sims.
Will also mention, either a cockpit or a wheel stand will be the best for this, I'm sure you can clamp to a desk but the pedals might slide

This bundle is amazing value for getting into sim racing. The force feedback is very forceful, and the build quality is exceptional. Mounts to desk so very user friendly.

Excellent introduction racing wheel into the pro realm of direct drive. Highly recommend. Make sure you get a rig to mount the pedals to. They don’t stay flat on the floor.
