It allows you to set when it should start brewing your coffee, which is great! It also comes with a filter to reduce chlorine in the water - be sure to replace it because it actucally makes a huge difference. Its a great coffee machine. I only wish the clock looked better.

I like the fact that you can change the degree of heat on the basepad and I also like the signal device when the coffee is ready or when it's about to turn itself off. It is especially nice that you can turn that signal off (in case someone in the house is trying to sleep). Very happy with this product.
