For me the key to a great cup of coffee is not only making the pot, but also being able to drink some hours after the pot was made, and that's why the plate warmer is so important. If you dont have one that can be adjusted, the coffee gets burnt.

Not even once! I've had it for about 4 months. Makes great coffee too! The beautiful red coffee maker looks absolutely stunning on my counter. The best one I've ever had by far! I absolutely love it and is my permanent replacement. Excellent price, easy to set brew to wake me up in the am, caraf is dishwasher safe, and great taste that comes with the charcoal filter.

You can adjust strength of coffee before making. You can adjust heat of hot plate. You can have a beep alarm go off when coffee is done. The spout pours properly vs the glass spout type. We had one for years, loved it, glad we could get a new one.
