My last mister coffee was ugly and hard to keep clean, but cheap. This one is sleek, stays clean, the carafe does not drip on the counter.... It is better and easier to use than the brand i was going to buy for twice as much. And just as attractive on the counter. UI cannot speak about durability, it is too new.

This coffee maker has been a solid performer for me for about a year and a half now. I did have the same leaking problem that some of the other reviewers are talking about, but I easily fixed the problem. All it is is the rubber hose that sends water around the burner coming loose. All you need to do is remove the bottom by unscrewing either 4 or 6 (I can't remember right now) Philips head screws and push the little hose back into place.

I set it at night and it starts when I want it to in the morning. Makes great tasting coffee.

I had one of these coffee makers for several years. It broke. I was soooo sad. I love this coffee maker, especially the variable temperature warming plate. It will keep coffee warm all day with burning it, like a bunn coffee maker will do. I was sooooo happy to find that Mr. Coffee still makes this model. I was even happier when I found it on sale at best buy. WOOT!!

Like this coffee maker a lot. Easy to program. Makes coffee fast. Only negative is the burner is already bubbling, the hard plastic you sit the carafe on.

I have had this machine since April of 2007. I use it 4-5 times a week. It is a very reliable machine. The only time I have has trouble with it is when I do something wrong, then it malfunctions. This is operator error not the machine's fault. The coffee taste great. This machine has never let me down. I recommend this to anyone who wants a great looking machine and enjoys good coffee. I was surprised to see negative reviews, but after reading them I found out that the people are mad because they are not following the directions and using the machines wrong.

This coffee maker started out great. We bought it for Christmas 2010. It's attractive, cool clock, easy to set brew timer, auto switch off. But after 18 months, it's kaput. The only thing that still works are the lights on the display. We weren't exactly easy on the machine. We used it daily, but it was well taken care of. We followed the instructions for care and cleaning and even used the Mr. Coffeee cleaning product. There is no reason this coffee maker should already be dead. Also, this machine created an ongoing expense. You have to continue purchasing the water filters and the cleaning product. I guess really the filters are optional, and at first we thought they were great. We tried to do the monthly replacement as the instructions recommend, but as time passed it just became an inconvenience - one more thing on the shopping list and the easiest thing to skip. In the end, this one was good coming out of the gate, but never made it to the finish line. I wouldn't recommend this machine.

I had a Keurig machine for years and needed something more for entertaining friends and making multiple cups at a time. I chose this. It works fine but know that you'll have to pull the machine out from under a cabinet to fill and use it. This is a bit of a nuisance but it doesn't bother me too much to return it.

I purchased this coffee maker to replace a less expensive model from Mr Coffee that had given good service for several years. I like the quality of coffee this model produces as well its basic features: 2-hr shut-off, coffee strength, and ability to program, etc. Coffee is brewed quietly and quickly. The analog-appearing clock is, however, fairly useless as it cannot be read except from a very narrow angle and its second hand is clearly superfluous and confusing at first glance. The "coffee ready" signal is too quiet to hear if there is ANY noise in the room or the person waiting for the signal is not virtually next to the appliance. Despite these shortcomings, I like it and would recommend it.

We bought one of these 5 years ago and brewed an average of one pot of coffee per day in it. When it came time to replace it, I was delighted to discover this model was still available. I looked at other coffee makers while shopping around but none of them had the features I love about this one at this price level. The adjustable temperature setting for the warmer plate is great, but my favorite feature is the ability to turn the "coffee ready" beeper on and off. I typically have mine "off", but will turn it on if we need to get up early one morning and want a backup to an alarm clock. I'm a light sleeper, so the nominal "beep" that is emitted from the machine is enough to jostle me awake.

Having many features and a higher price with good reviews, I was sure this would be the best coffee maker out there, but it was not for me. I bet it is only for certain coffee pot users. There were too many features that let me down, resulting in me to returning it to the store even though it worked ok. For example, the coffee tasted lighter than my other coffee maker, even on strong brew function and regular function. The warmer plate was not as expected, I didn't like that the lid came off easy which I assumed was so you can wash it separately but I didn't like that. Especially when making coffee. The lid has to open when you pour, the filter is annoying, and too many other annoyances. My cheaper Mr Coffee maker is 10x better! The only very good, nice feature without a doubt was the clock!

We are tough on coffee pots in our house, both because we have high expectations and because we seem to break them often. So a great coffee pot that is inexpensive is perfect for us. We like the coffeee to be ready when we wake up, we want there to be enough so we don't need to make a second pot, and we want it to stay warm through breakfast. This one does all of those things.

I like that it beebs to let ya know coffees ready and the timer to let u know how old the coffee is.

I got the coffeemaker for my wife to replace one that did not work right, it was not a Mr Coffee. My wife love the coffeemaker, she uses it all the time.

After being a Mr. coffee user for many years, I decided I wanted a filter for my water, This filter makes the coffee so smooth. I can set the coffee pot to go off in the morning when I ready. The cup size is only 5 oz, not 6 oz. I also love the fact that I can adjust the burner heat. Auto shut off is another big plus. Just go ahead and buy one at Best Buy, you wont be sorry.

I've had my unit a couple of months. I usually only make 4 cups. One day it brews all four cups. Other days it'll just make 1-2 cups. Must be a problem with the manual mechanism that slipping the decanter in triggers for coffee flow. Life's too short to go thru calling manufacturer or returning so off to buy another brand today. very frustrating to start your coffee maker and comeback to find it's only produced 1 cup too strong to drink.

Loved this thing, had it for right around a year, and now it turns on randomly, boils coffee in the pot, none of the buttons work so in the trash it goes. Will most likely just buy the exact same one, still got a lot of great features for the price. Just wish it had lasted longer.

I wanted to leave a good review... I loved this coffee maker - it was beautiful and makes a delicious pot of coffee. But my third one finally broke... the third in a three year span. And this last one was only three months old. Luckily we ALWAYS get the replacement plans otherwise I would have been furious. It's an hour's drive to the nearest store every time this happens. Time to try a different brand!

i have owned two of these and they both done the same thing. they work sometimes and then other times they just sit there and sputter and spit only brewing a couple cups of coffee. i bought first one and it screwed up in first week so i thought it was a fluke. returned it and got another but it ended up doing the same darn thing. in my opinion they are junk. p.s. h**l no i wouldn't recommend this product to anyone!!!!!!!!!!!!
