We just wanted a simple coffee maker without extras.

I like the basic features of this machine. I can never figure out how to set alarms and auto-start features on other machines, so just flipping the switch is nice. I would like it if it had an auto-off feature...but just remember to turn it off!

No bells or whistles but dependable and does the job!

A good basic coffeemaker, but coffee doesnt stay fresh-tasting for long enough (maybe half an hour). I also wis I'd gotten a more expensive model with an automatic turnoff.

I just wanted a simple coffee maker. My last Mr Coffee lasted close to 6 years, hoping this one does as well. If all you are looking for is a machine to make coffee this is the one!

We searched for the least expensive coffee maker on the market and found it -- on sale -- at Best Buy. Grreat price; great value. Like the ergonomic pot design -- good job, Mr. Coffee! Our big ding on this product is that it apparently does not turn itself off after a given amount of time. I"m surprised at this, viewing this as a fundamental safety feature. I have found that the coffee pot stays on, the coffee will actjually scorch, and the pot gets relatively hot. As I stated, I had assumed an auto shut off would be a standard safety feature. For this one reason, I can't recomend the product. I would invest in a slightly higher ;price model that has all the "basic" features.

It makes coffee and costs less than $20. Not much more to say.

A Simple, no frills coffee maker. No clock or timer, or 2 hour shut off might be a deal breaker for some but it works great for me. Nice big opening to add water - Never spill a drop!

If you don't care about all the bells and whistles, this is for you.

Good coffee maker, fast brew when I'm on my way to work.

This coffee pot works perfectly. Specially if you like fast made coffee. It hasn’t broken down. And it still looks in good shape. Also it is perfect If you like a simple coffee pot that doesn’t have a lot of buttons

This coffee maker is inexpensive and very easy to use. I bought it for my elderly father who uses it with great ease without me having to explain it to him!

I like to keep it simple & this coffee pot is definitely simple. Does what I need it to do, just makes coffee. No fancy clicks or timers just coffee.

An excellent, simple, elegant coffee maker. No need to program it. Much easier to load, brew, and clean than the programmable one. Also no automatic turn off after 2 hours, so you can drink it all morning without it going cold.

This is the most basic coffee maker out there and the price is right. If you need something that just makes coffee then this is the one for you. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't have a reusable filter.

Not hardcore coffee people. It makes the coffee everyday. Hasen't broke or malfunctioned. Just one button....on or off. Does not auto shutoff.

Bought this as a replacement for the Mr Coffee my 97 year old mom has been using for years. Bought black this time simply because it won't stain as bad. These units last for years even with daily use.
