If you're wanting a basic coffee maker without the "bells & whistles" this is for you. It doesn't look as luxury as some of the other coffee makers but it makes coffee that meets my standards. I have one of these connected to a Wemo Mini Smart Plug (which I also reviewed) and it's made this an extremely affordable smart appliance.

I bought this coffee maker just because my old expreso machine give up. I am extremely glad I found this coffee maker. I love the way way to make coffee and I don't have to worry if it's ready or not. It's really simple to use. Great coffee and best of all make tons of coffee at once. I truly recommended before sold out.

The coffee maker we had before was a Mr Coffee and we really enjoyed it. So we looked for the same one but could not find it at Best Buy so we bought this one and it works perfectlywith the exception that we have to remember to check it and shut it off.

Would have been nice if it automatically shuts off after few hrs.

The hardware looks ok, it makes my coffee very fast, it’s sold at good price and so far it makes my coffee taste amazing.

Bought this plain coffee maker for my mother (86); it has nothing but one ON/OFF switch which is what she wanted. It's simple and it works as designed; you fill the water tank, add coffee filter and coffee, turn the switch on and 5 minutes later you have a pot of coffee. Drink, turn off, empty the filter/coffee and you're done - wait until tomorrow morning and start over.

I used a reward certificate and only had to pay $10. Perfect price for all the coffee you can drink.

I had to throw out an expensive (over $100) coffee maker because of the inability to clean it thoroughly. So in frustration, I bought the least expensive and most basic coffee maker I could find in the store. It makes coffee that tastes exactly the same as if I had spent $100!! It's nothing special, but definitely serves its purpose.

I've owned similar inexpensive Mr. Coffee models before, and they've always made good coffee and are easy to use and clean. When my previous Mr. Coffee stopped working after a few years (the first time that's happened), I decided to get another Mr. Coffee to replace it. This one is the same as the one I had before, except that my previous one had a clock and could be programmed to brew at another time -- this one just has an on/off switch. I never used the delayed brew feature, and the clock was just something I'd have to reset after a power blip or DST change, so having just the on/off switch is perfect. In addition, the old one had separate buttons to turn the unit on and off, and you could accidentally turn it on if you bumped it -- the single toggle switch on this unit eliminates this problem. If you just want to make coffee and don't need the bells and whistles, you can't go wrong with this model.

Cheaper than any of its rivals, and does the job fine. No bells and whistles (which I never used on my previous model), such as a clock, timer, provision for pre-setting the time of brewing, etc. But if like me you just turn it on when you get up, it brews a nice cup (or six, or presumably more) quickly.

Coffee maker is easy to use. Keeps the coffee hot.
