As coffee pots go, this is a pretty good one. It made my coffee relatively quickly and to my liking. It's nice to have the option of regular or strong brew. The timer functionality is pretty straightforward and simple to use, and works as advertised. It's simple enough to just set the time and then have everything ready to go for your morning cup of joe. One added little touch I liked was the freshness timer, which you can press and it tells you how long the pot has been sitting there. Great for those who may come after it has already been brewed. Because "I just made it a few minutes ago" could be anything from 5 minutes to 2 hours ago depending on who you're asking. So it's nice to just be able to see, oh, this pot has been sitting here for 45 minutes, I might as well just go ahead and make a new one, etc. Overall it's just a great coffee pot.

Missed coffee brand has been around for a long time and they don't disappoint. I like a good old-fashioned cup of Joe and that's what this coffee maker is. Simple easy the way you remember it put coffee grinds here pour water here put pot here, here comes the coffee. They got a nice little easy setting for strong and regular. I like to buy my own coffee and I also do the occasional import. Nothing but love for those newer and cooler models but they're not all they're cracked up to me. Sometimes just keep it classic.

So I’ve bee using the Mr. Coffee Programmable Coffee Maker with Rapid Brew System for the last week and its been pretty good for me. First off, I’m glad I was able to get this coffee as it blends in well wit the rest of the aesthetic look of my new kitchen. Stainless steel is very sleek and matches the rest of my appliances as well as my fridge and stove. Unboxing the coffee maker you will find a handy measuring cup scoop to get that perfect cup/pot of coffee and the water filtration system. There’s also a user manual included in the box to get you up and running in no time. The coffee maker makes a decent pot of coffee at best for me. Though you can change on the front of the coffee maker on whether you want a stronger pot of coffee or regular strength. But this may also depend of the type/quality of the coffee you’re using as well. Also on the front of the coffee maker is a digital clock that is very easy to set, however, I wish it was bigger and/or illuminated in a way. We have to bend down a little to see what the time says (although we don’t use this as our main clock in the kitchen; we have the microwave and stove for that). You also have a Freshness Time Button and a Brew Now/Brew Later Buttons. We didn’t really use the Brew Later feature, because usually when we make a pot of coffee, its usually gone pretty fast. But one of my favorite features of the coffee maker is the auto shut-off after 2 hours. This is good for those who may forget to turn it off before heading out to work in the morning or heading to bed in the evening. All in all I think this is a great coffee maker for its price range and it looks really nice in the kitchen. Comes with a scoop and a water filtration disk.

Ease of use, also to program, clean, attractive design!

I wanted to switch from a pod coffee maker to a brew coffee maker. I do notice a more full bodied flavor to the coffee with this machine. Functions such as brew strength and timer options are easy to use. The charcole filter is a nice touch to help filter out water impurities. Here is the reason for the 3 stars, however, don't let this deter you from purchasing this machine as it will still produce good coffee. Clock Display is very dim due to old style LED, would prefer a color LCD or even some type of lighted LCD would be helpful. My first impression out of box is plastic housing (black parts) have a very cheap appearance. Based on other machines that I have owned. I did not experience any faster brew time than any other brew machine that I have owned in the past. Things to consider! Water fill level site is helpfull. Includes Coffee measuring scoup with suggested amounts. Compact, Fits nicly on counter. Entire top opens for easy access to water fill and basket. Carafe is easy pour no spill. Coffee temperature is nice and hot, helps with a perfect brew.

Mr. Coffee 12-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker makes a great cup of coffee. I love the rapid brew system. I only wished it had more modern features, Maybe a better clock for easier timed brewing, but it still made an awesome cup of java. You will love it!

I love coffee. And I know how it is supposed to taste when brewed. And this machine offers a nice flavor that surprised me on how good it was. Sadly, the overall machine flaws ruined the experience. First, the clock is not back lit. It is just a dead common LCD that is difficult to read. I could live with that if the rest of the controls weren't so boneheadly bad. Second, instruction book is nearly worthless. It does describe how to make this work but the pictures are small and don't offer enough detail to know what button to push for what action. I ended up working through this on my own through trial and error. Third, the controls are obtuse and not intuitive. Because of the bad instruction book (too small in size and not enough detail), it was difficult to figure out how to set the timer. I ended up setting the timer and then thought I had done a timed brew and ended up brewing a pot now and stronger than I might otherwise have wanted. The coffee was good, but I'd not want this coffee maker if I had to run brews first thing in the morning when I wake up. Fourth, coffee basket - not one mention I'd need filters - though you can get an optional reusable one. Thankfully I had a few left over from my prior machine and used them. Not a big point, but if you didn't know, you'd have to go to the store to get some. A quality company would have had a few for the trial run. I could not figure out how to install this water filter thing on top of the basket. Supposedly this is to remove chlorine from the water (97% of it at least). I ended up throwing that thing in the box and brewing without it. Instructions were completely useless here. Overall, this makes a decent cup of coffee if you can master the on button and brew now. Timed brews are pointless since the display is so awful. If this were on sale, it would be okay to buy. But not at retail. It looks very nice. But all that effort was ruined by poor instructions and awful controls and pathetic display that is unacceptable in 2020 for a quality machine. I'd look at other makers unless you get this at a good price and don't expect much in operation.

Generally, one should never trust a person to review a coffee maker until they’ve had their morning caffeine. But this coffee maker is programmable so you can literally “wake up and smell the coffee.” It’s easy to use and touts a faster brew—which came in very handy as we recently had guests around the breakfast table and needed just a few more rounds of coffee. It made fast work of it. In other words, a great coffee maker.

Everything is working just fine. Only thing I do not like about it is the top opening to the side. But, that is not a show stopper. The two hours shutoff is great and that is the reason I bought this specific coffee maker.

Im not sure i like this pot. The coffee is ok, but could be hotter. I did not like that water filtrator thing so i threw that out.

Practical...excactly what i need to wake up and smell the coffe ready to drink..not pricey..didn't like much the filter thing so i just use bottle water..

Perfect basic coffee maker for the workplace or office. Nothing too fancy or special but it gets the job done. Only upgrade I would say is the included water filter.

We just bought this coffee maker, and we LOVE IT!! We give it Five Stars‼️

Everything about this coffee maker was promising. It seemed like a decent value and we'll made product as we researched it, purchased, unboxed it, cleaned it, brewed pots of water to get rid of the plastic smell. And then we tried it out! We used the strong setting and a little more freshly ground coffee than we used to put in our previous Bella coffee maker (which made great, rich coffee but kicked the bucket after about 15 months). The 'coffee' that came out was nothing close to black, but a weak watery brown. It would be ok for gas station coffee or a greasy spoon diner. I'm sure it's okay if you like Maxwell House or Folgers. To get what we expect out of it, we'd have to double the amount of ground coffee we use, and we buy very nice coffee. So we are returning this one immediately, which is sad. If I worked at a company that produces this model I would be ashamed. Our older, cheaper Mr. Coffee maker from years back made a decent pot of coffee and lasted for years. We had high hopes for this one.

Mr Coffee can not go wrong with this brand, don't need the high dollar names out there when you can get this middle of the pack coffee maker that does the same thing at making coffee!

Brews coffee nicely, but coffee does not stay hot which I do not like. over all does well.
