I find myself every morning wondering why my $9.99 coffee pot from Wal-Mart didn’t work out… I thought since I’m drinking more coffee, let me spend more than $10 and get a “nice” coffee pot… I never knew there was so many issues one can have with a coffee maker… the rim around the bottom of the coffee pot locks ‘er in there pretty well… a little too we’ll… unless you duct tape your machine down, you will be dragging it across the counter trying to pull the pot to fill your mug… after you’ve wrestled it out, you now have to make sure you slam it back in… if it doesn’t go all the way in, when you make coffee the next time, it will flood all over the counter. Absolute headache…

Work great when it works. This is my second one, I bought one several years ago and it worked just fine for 10 years then all of sudden it just stopped working after about 5 years. I bought a second one 10 months ago and it just stopped working. Now I have to figure out how to get it replaced under warranty.

I purchased this coffee maker on December 3 2021. I used it mostly just on weekends. It has only lasted 1year and 10 months. One day it quit beeping when the brewing was done and because of that the coffee wouldn't get warm any more. Will never buy another Mr. Coffee coffee maker ever again. Don't make them like they used to.

Had to return this item because it would not perform as it should. I exchanged it for another one same model thinking that I couldn't have the same problem twice. Unfortunately It did not work either. I will be returning it as soon as I can Love the look but not the result

It Does The Job But That's About It, Filter Handle Broke As Soon AS I Used It.

This coffee maker is a disappointment. The basket seems to let the water stream move the filter so the hot water goes different places. Also, we find many coffee grounds in our coffee. The carafe needs to be set super precisely or it doesn't function well.

I was hopeful for this product upon arrival. I ordered it because our Bella coffee machine stopped working. Believing in the Mr. Coffee brand I purchased this, I took it out of the box upon arrival and poured water in it to give it quick clean before use. The water immediately seeped out of the bottom of the reservoir. It was defective out of the box, so I really could not say of makes good coffee. Returned the product and bought the Ninja coffee machine.

Works great Great machine love it, definitely recommend.

Worked well for five months, but it just decided to stop pumping water through. No indication that anything was faulty until it just stopped. If you're looking for a gateway coffee maker that only lasts six months, then this should be on your list. If you want long term -- move on.

So far I'm loving my coffee maker. Love Mr. Coffee

This coffemaker has the shower type dripper. For some reason it doesn't produce as strong a coffee as the other kind, the narrower dripper. I'm not sure why. The buttons also could be larger. Oh well, i paid my mom back the cost of it, so it's all good

Just three weeks in--and it stops brewing. Generates a lot of steam, but no coffee. Others comment that the backflow valve may be stuck because of coffee grounds; if so, this is about as bad a design as you can think of--it is inevitable that small debris will get trapped in there without a screen to stop them. I'd give it 0 stars, but I don't think that is possible.

After 9 months stopped working for no reason. Does not heat water

We bought this to replace a Mr. Coffee maker that we had for 8 years. It broke almost immediately. When I went to exchange it, they were out of stock and I switched to a different brand. Ours we likely just a lemon, but it was disappointing.

The components have to be seated exactly right or the coffee brewing will be a disaster. It’s too easy to put the filter holder in and it not be seated correctly. Everything is black to so it’s difficult to tell that it’s not seated correctly. You can put it wrong and it will look like it’s right. You won’t find out until the coffee grounds are getting everywhere.

Our old and very cheap Walmart's Mainstains coffee brewer died on us right at night on Dec 31st. So we were risking of staying without a morning coffee cup on Jan 1st. What a terrible perspective ! So I ordered this Mr. Coffee one. Picked it up first thing in the morning. And ... it appeared to be defective right out of the box - 5 beeps, no coffee. I read in internet that those "5 beeps" means that the thermostat is dead or the waterline is clogged. In meanwhile my wife disassembled our Mainstains brewer and cleaned the power cord's electrical contacts and fixed it! So I had my coffee thanks to our old cheap brewer but not to Mr.Coffee ! I'm sooo disappointed ! Returning this and will never buy anything made under the Mr. Coffee. brand again.

We purchased this around the end of November and it already broke. Looking on line, it appears that it's the water reservoir sensor. I was able to call the company for a replacement which was great but I don't think things should break down 3 months post purchase...
