I basically replaced the same model that I owned for 7 years. No frills and just makes a good cup of coffee. Great price. Does what you want and nothing more so less to break which is why they last so long.

Makes good coffee if you're not looking for many features. It could use a little more weight to the base, it wants to slide on counter when you replace the pot.

This was a perfect gift for my mom for Mother's Day. It took about 5 minutes to wash, do the initial brew, and set up the time and auto brew. Now she can wake up to coffee every morning at the press of one button.

Sales person was VERY helpful, finding the right coffee maker at the right price, and Best Buy compared to no other store in Terre Haute that day. We shopped 4 other stores that day, and the others disappointed us either with their price, customer service(usually lack of customer service) or variety of choices in coffee makers. One place had only the display model left, when we offered to buy it they told us they couldn't sell it to us per store policy, we won't be going back there again.
