Comes with a built in filter which is great. I don't like to use our tap water so this saves me from emptying the pitcher of filtered water every time. It's got a small footprint and looks great on my counter. My favorite thing is it's easy to clean. There aren't a million extra features with add on that need cleaning like past makers I've used. And I love that you can control how long it keeps warm. This is a great basic coffee maker for people who just want a nice hot cup of coffee.
