It's not really what I wanted. Much prefer a thermos carafe instead of glass.

Had a couple days over a month, I was on vacation part of that time. Stopped working -tried to return to Best buy. But no help there. Called company and they where very helpful sent us a new one. Disappointed with BB return policy. 14 days and somethings no return . I just received new one so we will see

Light was to bright and stayed on all the time. lit up whole kitchen.

I bought this to replace an identical unit that quit after 5 years of daily use. It looks great, makes pretty good coffee, and the metallic red faceplate looks great. The timer is very easy to program. The electronics are a bit temperamental - unplugging the unit seems to reset it OK. The main flaw is that raising the top to remove the filter and grounds before the unit cools down may result in steam spraying from the perforated disk in the lid, so stand back!

I have previously purchased this same model twice and been very pleased with it. However, this purchase, my third, has been a disappointment. The new model seems to be cheaply made, more plastic and flimsy filter, etc. I will not purchase it again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Coffee runs down the side of the coffee pot while pouring a cup of coffee. I must pour over a sink and then wipe the bottom of the coffee pot.

My old coffee maker just quit. I decided to purchase a Mr Coffee because it was a name I recognized. I was very disappointed when I opened the box and 2 pieces were broken. I returned it and bought another brand that I am very happy with.

coffee pot leaked all over counter when filling, carafe dripped when pouring, coffee pot quit working after three weeks would not draw water to top. Best Buy would not take coffee pot back or give store credit. Best Buy warranty period is for fifteen days only. Thank goodness I bought it with American Express their warranty is one year.

I liked the mr. Coffee maker for the great cup of coffee it made. The biggest drawback was that no matter how i poured thye coffee out of the pot it would leak onto the counter.

This is probably the 5th Mr. Coffee in less than 4 years, I will never buy this brand again nor will I pay for an expensive model of any brand again.

No matter how careful you are it spills or drips as you pour. Bad design. Everything else is great. Sad!

Within a week of purchasing, I noticed that the seal between the glass carafe and the plastic was leaking. Every time you'd pour, coffee would spill from underneath the rim. I contacted customer service and they mailed me a new carafe. Now, less than 2 years after purchase, the heating element has burned out. Warranty is only one year. Mr. Coffee products used to last years and years. Will definitely be buying a different brand.
