When I received my Mr. Coffee Frappe Single-Serve Iced and Hot Coffee Maker I was genuinely excited. I love…no make that LOVE a good frappecino! Unfortunately it has been pretty much a disappointment. When I first blended my first Frappe it was, well…perfect. I was blown away and very impressed. So I know it is capable, but this was pretty much the highlight of my experience with this device. My 2nd attempt we just a watery mess and by the 3rd attempt, the blender was broken. Now dealing with the company for a replacement was very pleasant and if I were just reviewing this process, I would give their customer service 5 stars. However once I received my replacement device I have again experienced a wide range of results despite going thru the same process each time. I have yet to replicate the perfect 1st frappe but I have replicated a watery cold blended coffee on more than one occasion. A couple have been ok, still thinner and more watery than I would like, but not terrible. Maybe it works better with different shaped or sized ice? It’s just so odd how much it varies despite me following the exact same process each time. Now there are things about the device that seem solid. It has a compact footprint. The instructions on the lid are nice. I love the 2 insulated cups it comes with, those are great. I would also say it is quite easy to use. The actual coffee it brews is delicious and works fine for that. But it brews the coffee right onto ice cubes. The variation in how much the ice melts in this phase is what I believe to be the root of the inconsistency issues. Now if I take the extra steps and brew the coffee first and let it cool down a bit, then manually pour the coffee over the ice and milk and continue from there I can blend a wonderful beverage. But I can do that with my regular coffee maker and blender too. If it’s not more convenient then it doesn’t have much of a point to me. All in all I am afraid to say I am disappointed. If you want a single brew coffee maker and blender and don’t mind the extra step of brewing and cooling the coffee first then it way be for you. Perhaps different ice will yield better results for you. I see there are a lot of 5* reviews so it clearly works well for many people. It just didn’t work well for me and based on that I cannot recommend this to a friend.

I had the original Mr coffee frappe maker- I liked it better, the new one does not brew all the water over the grounds- and the blender struggles with ice-

Coffee is one of the things that I really enjoy in any of its presentations, be it a hot coffee, an iced coffee, or a frappe, and having the possibility of being able to prepare any of the three options in a single coffee maker is something, in my opinion, brilliant. I have had the opportunity to use other coffee machines of the same brand and every time a product is launched and I can try it, I keep checking that time and dedication are given to each of their products, I mention it because it is important that in practice you can get the best of the product you pay for since that is what is expected as a consumer and Mr Coffee coffee machines are always an example of the aforementioned. Unboxing is always something entertaining, each piece visible and well made, the materials of the pieces and of the coffee maker itself are of very good quality, the finishes are very fine and in my opinion, they look great in the kitchen, the colors are very sober but elegant as well as the accessories, I love it. I must say that the instructions or guide need a little more attention in terms of explanation, however it has a mini-guide that in a general and precise way, shows you the exact steps that must be followed to prepare any of the three possible options, which is appreciated, in addition to some very interesting suggested recipes. Each of the possible ways to prepare coffee has a somewhat similar process, so with the passage of time and constant use, it becomes even easier to prepare coffee. This coffee maker is designed to prepare portions for one person at a time, however, the preparation time is not too long, so if you want to prepare coffee for more than one person, it will not be difficult work, quite the opposite. The coffee maker includes what is necessary to prepare coffee but you have to consider that you will need ground coffee and depending on what you want to prepare, it will require milk, water and additives to taste, in my opinion, they are things that you normally have at home, the coffee maker and its accessories are easy to wash and do not use too much space, I can conclude that once again Mr Coffee delivers a well designed, elegant product with very useful functions and at a fair price, I can definitely recommend this product with complete confidence.

Machine doesn’t work. Power light just blinks, won’t start to brew :( I’m so sad.. this was a Christmas gift for my daughter who was sooo excited to receive this gift :/

I’m sorry but what a joke this thing is.. I was very excited for this machine. It worked perfectly fine for literally the 5 times I used it, 1 month and this machine doesn’t work at all! I turned it on and was going to make my usual coffee and I pressed the button to start making coffee and it just turns off and is unresponsive and I try again and again and it refuses to stay powered on or do anything. If you need a throwaway coffee machine only good for 5 uses this is it.

This coffee maker did not work out of the box. Gave as a Christmas gift and the unit will not power on. Now I cant return it due to being past the return period.
