This a sleek and beautiful gaming beast. Touchpad for me does not interfere with my typing, however the Windows key being on the right side of the keyboard will take time to get used to. The keys are okay to type on. They aren't as clicky as the ones on a MacBook but no real complaints. Flex on the chassis isn't much, but for some reason the entire laptop has a fragile feel to it. I wouldnt recommend picking it up on one side with one hand, but instead always grab it from each side with both hands. I don't know how confident I would be putting this in my backpack without a protective sleeve/case to put around it. I think this has part to do with the size (17 inches) and the weight (slightly under 5 pounds). I played Overwatch for a couple hours and the fps went far past the screen refresh rate of 144hz on Ultra settings.

Tried so many laptops this one of the best that keeps laptop cool while playing but you might feel little hot in very small area by power plug for battery. But not big deal at all. Overall screen keyboard. Good. Speakers are alright.

Love this laptop, literally a really well built desktop into a laptop size. 2 issues ive seen, with all the computing power, runs hot and the mouse pad is really big and gets in the way. other than that great product.

I'm not a gamer, but use my MSI laptop for equipment design in 3D CAD programs. This laptop works well for my purposes designing complex mechanical components and systems.

This is my second MSI computer. The sleek, slim design makes portability a breeze. The power graphics card makes my games look amazing. Great buy, well worth it!

Decent gaming laptop. It handled some psycho setting I didn’t expect it to. A year and a half in the monitor itself is starting to have visual glitching in the left. This by itself may cause me to never get a gaming laptop in the future.

Lightning fast. I bought a MacBook with all the goodies, but since I have been anz android guy all my life, took it back, got this MSI and it is twice as fast as the MAC, easier to learn the processes, and love the keyboard how it lights up from one side to another, Bluetooth mouse, 17" screen, which the Mac had 15", 9th Gen I7 Intel Core, not 8th Gen. Then it went on sale and I got back $100.00 because of the policy if you find (them or others) with a lower price in 30 days, you get the difference. This is a gaming computer, but I use it for music, internet, and office operations. Great computer.

The MSI stealth laptop is very quick. Split the drive and now dual boots ubuntu linux with windows. Loaded NVIDIA GPU development capabilities. Love this laptop!

Love, love, love this laptop. Small ventilation issue, so I suggest buying a well ventilated cooling lap desk to use. Aside from that, this is a power house with a great anesthetic.

Excellent computer for gaming and every day use. Great keyboard. Add solid state hard drives and you'll have a fast booting time and much less failures of your hardware.

I had this for about a year, during g which it fell charging port down a half dozen or so times, the the point the aluminum around the charging port was indented and the usb port wouldn't work. The computer powered along for months. The only thing about this laptop is that mine tended to power itself on whilst completely closed. This occurred one day while it was set on my bed. The casing on the bottom where that intake is located was blocked and ended up melting the bottom and warping the entirety of the riser badly. The cooling fans also sound like a jet taking off so where circum aural headphones. It is now being replaced after being junked by geek squad.

This gaming computer is not only good looking but it exceeded my son's expectation, he is in love with it. It is the fastest compuiter he ever had.

Great performance while playing any game while doing everything else I'd want it to do I'd recommend this if you have the money, the only downside is the power consumption but other than that its perfect

I’m 22 and have had a few different laptops and 2 desktop computers in the past, this is the best one. It’s fast and there are NO glitches or freezing or spinning wheels on this.

I just got this laptop to play FFXIV and at first I had a problem with key getting stuck while I'm playing a game. Later on I found out I had to delete those macro shortcut keys from the msi setting and problem solved! Also, you may want to manually go to Nvidia control center & Geforce enviroment to get the best performance/quality to get the extremely high score on benchmark test. There are several different mode for cooling option and gaming mode is kind of loud but it's very strong. I always watch TV when I'm playing game at the same time but the noise didn't bother me at all so there's no need for cooling pad anymore. I'm so glad I got this laptop!

This machine has enough muscle to keep you connected to your gaming world while you are on the go. It is durable and functions above expectation even when streaming/gaming for ten plus hours.

It can get toast because of vent placement on the bottom, but I’ve beat the crap ot of this thing running it with 2 other monitors and it still holds up.

I paid 1800 for this. Great quality. Games play really smooth and looks fantastic. The only downside is I wish that MSI didn’t flip the motherboards but other than that I’m happy

Purchased this laptop for sale on Black Friday week. If I paid full price I’d still be just as happy. Out of the box this laptop will do anything you expect and runs super fast and can play games on high settings. I used my money saved to perform upgrades of 32gb ram and add an extra 2TB of storage. This model comes with a Samsung 1TB ssd. There are (2) other slots for a nvme and SATA ssd slot. I upgraded the ram but the original is perfectly fine it came with (2) 8gb Samsung ram instead of a single 16gb stick. It has some botware but not as bad as I expected didn’t take long to clean up. Overall a great mobile gaming machine.

Great gaming laptop, runs everything nice and fast. Excellent form factor, nice and thin and pretty light. Compatible with Oculus Rift S, VR gaming has been great so far. My only complaint would be that some other MSI laptops have a DisplayPort or Mini DisplayPort, which makes connecting the Oculus Rift S easier. This one has a ThunderBolt port instead. Needed to get a $20 Thunderbolt to DisplayPort adapter. But it works flawlessly using the adapter. Despite that, I'd still highly recommend this laptop to anyone.
