Exciting begging to a holiday nightmare
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.DOA after a 10 day hectic holiday and snow delayed computer shop had time to diagnose the mobo to the tune of 40$. Ill remember to pay for the extended return window option next time. Im impressed by build quality and features compared to my old asus x470 prime. I was excited, Sadly it wasnt meant to be this christmas. I'd edit this recommendation if it worked or the window for return was a little wider for this holiday madness.

FreeNAS Server

This is running very stable AMD Ryzen 5 3400 G CPU, 4 core 8 thread, 64 gig Ram, using a Samsung SSD for start up. I have 5 10tb drives running a Raid ZFS files. This is on 24 x 7. I only use the video on the motherboard since I do not need to monitor all the time. I can access this through my main computer.

Best B450 board hands down.

It’s like a solid pickup truck that gets the load shipped. I’m running it with an 5700 XT and 2600 overclocked to 4.2 with overclocked memory from 3200 to 3400. Board doesn’t blink... only regret is it only has one M.2 slot. But you can’t have everything.

Great Motherboard for the price B450 Tomahawk Max

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Used this board in my new build with a Ryzen 7 3800X, no issues, set the bios for my memory (3200mhz) and booted fine. Put in M2 Nvme drive, loaded windows 10 no Issues. Has strong VRM's with heat sinks. Didn't have a cover for the M2 drive like some boards but I will add a heat sink later. I am 72 and this is the first build I have done since 2009. I am impressed with the quality of the board. Best Buy shipped it to me and I had in three days!
