My old motherboard died and got this one as a replecement. It works as advertised and has all the features you might need.

This is by far the best bang for buck motherboard purchase I have ever made. All the features you need for performance at a price that’s competitive and long term compatibility with Ryzen 5000 series. Very pleased with the purchase and would recommend one to anyone in the market for a newer Ryzen mother board.

Bought this for its compatibility when upgrading the CPU. The Bios flash button made setup as easy as can be. First time using a motherboard with rgb on it and it looks great! Also easy to control with included software.

The MSI B550 Gaming Plus motherboard (AM4 socket) has been very user friendly and supports a wide range of components. Seating the CPU is a breeze with its simplified housing and latch pin. The M.2 SSD main slot is protected by a cover that is easily accessible and removable with only 1 screw. Flash BIOS feature makes it easy for professionals and first timers alike to update right out of the box. Depending on which CPU/APU you have, update might not be required. (Cross reference manufacture date to manufacturer website to verify BIOS build version.) The only downside I found is that it does not have WiFi or Bluetooth built in, but dongles are inexpensive. Overall a very good motherboard for gaming, graphic design and other hardware intensive applications.

Replaced my micro motherboard and it was a game changer. It works well with my cpu and gpu. Super easy to install.

A great MOBO for any build. I really like that this MOBO his AMD Gen 3 and PCIE 4.0 ready. Easy to use BIOs and very cool RGB. Worth the price tag.

Honestly didn't look at the specs too much before buying i bought it because bestbuy had it in stock with the ryzen 7 3700x and ram i wanted so didn't wanna wait for a motherboard to ship. Compatible with ryzen 3000 series and also 5000 series after a bios update. Have 16 gigs of team in it think it handles up to 64 gigs. 2 m.2 slots for expansion as well. USB c port for easy phone charging. 2 pcie slots though i think one is only 8 lanes but, do your homework if you need 16 lanes on both slots. Plenty of headers for most people. Many features I'll never use. Great board for the price.

I was pulling my hair out trying to pinpoint why my Ryzen system kept freezing up more and more over time (in particular at startup) until I concluded after a tedious process of elimination that the Asrock B550 board I was using was on its last legs. Since the rest of the system was presumably fine, I decided to invest in another B550 mobo to replace it and so far this one has been rock solid, and the built-in RGB lights under the heatsink complemented my Wraith Prism and RGB fans perfectly.

I purchased this motherboard for my gaming desktop, and I wish I had researched more, as it lacks built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. However, it is an amazing motherboard that complements my AMD Ryzen 5600X.

Price per dollar it's the best deal I could find at the time for purchase. The board doesn't offer onboard wifi or Bluetooth. But it does boast two nvme m.2 drive slots along with a slew of usb port including usb 3 and a usb 3 type c port. Has enough rgb on the board to be tasteful and useful, I have mine programed to change color with cpu temps to keep me informed on temps had plenty of expansion ports including four Sata ports and two 16x and two 8x expansion ports for graphics cards, sound cards, wifi and Bluetooth cards.

Such a great deal I couldn’t pass it up! Always check your Best Buy for new items!!! They get something new in all the time and it may be what you’ve been searching for. This MB worked great for my kids pc build!

Nice budget gaming motherboard. I purchased this after my son's motherboard died. Installation was simple and it booted right up off his ssd. I installed all the necessary drivers and he was back up and gaming.

This is my second MSI motherboard. The first was a B450 for another machine. I like the features, specifically 2 M.2 slots for adding more NVME storage. It has lots of USB and audio connectivity. It would be nice if it had WiFi and bluetooth at this price point. This MB has a nice black aesthetic. It has RGB lights, but they are quite faint. The MSI bios is fairly ease to use.

It’s been over a year since I got this and the motherboard has held up its end of the bargain. Product works great and smoothly. I plan to upgrade the other components for better and smoother gaming experience. I have not doubt it’ll hold up it’s end. I really like the fact that it has a lot of available features for anyone who wants to add additional things such as fans, RAM, two storage slots, Bluetooth/WiFi cards, and more!

It had the IO that I needed along with it being easy to use. Although It has no distinct color, the black is a good neutral ground for any build. My only complaint is the lack of a full manual for this motherboard, but I've been building for years, so it wasn't a complete dealbreaker.
