I have the Geforce 2070 super version. The performance of this beast is INSANE. The latest gen of intel processor pairs really well with Nvidia RTX. Exceeded my expectations, always thought msi products were overpriced but definitely changed my mind. Worth every penny, with the beautiful RGB lighting all around.

Oh dam! This computer is a beast! Can run anything and is basically the same power and a good desktop. Also almost as good, if not better than the higher priced version of this, as 2070 super is a better gpu than 2080 super max q.

1 week review: The Laptop is good so far. The boot up time is quiet good, performance is good. The battery didn't charge to 100% initially due to preset settings so i had to drain it to 65% and then charge again along with some change in settings. The built quality is good. The only major complaint i have is for the charger. It is really heavy and really limits the portability of the laptop. Other than this the laptop in itself is a good buy !

Had this for quite some time and literally quite a powerful laptop, although it gets quite toasty above the keyboard it gets the job done! Love having all the major connections in the back to hide the cables and minor things on the sides, fits perfect for my setup.

So far the experience has been really good with this laptop. I haven't had a chance to load a lot of games on it but at least getting it ready it has shown that it is pretty fast and responsive. The things I like is the ability to create recovery discs right off the bat in case something goes wrong. I already upgraded the second Nmve slot with a Samsung 1TB and both are working great. I do wish there was another RAID option besides Optane to take advantage of the added space. Copying files even gigs are really fast. The network connection works great. The video card is what you expect with a Nvidia RTX 2070 Super. I do wish you could upgrade the hard drive without taking the bottom off but it was relatively painless. You just have to remove the factory seal sticker which makes you feel like getting support could be difficult. Hopefully I won't find that out. It does seem to be pretty solid. Looking forward to see it handles some higher tier games but my desktop with similar does well and I wouldn't expect this laptop to do less.

If you get this laptop, I'd really recommend learning all about undervolting. This thing is a BEAST. It can handle a lot, but it gets hot. The components are amazing, most triple A games run around 60-70 fps on max settings, and other games run from 100-240fps. The refresh rate is only 240, so I wouldn't recommend letting your CPU overwork itself for frames you won't see. Overall a great buy for the price. *Bought on sale*

Great Christmas gift for my daughter! She’s been gaming on this laptop pretty much every day since she got it and it has been able to keep up with her long hours of continuous use. It does seem to get a little hot but I blame the over use by my daughter! lol

Fantastic laptop for gaming, everything is smooth and fast. RGB lights are easily customization and look great. Fans get pretty loud at max speed but keeps the laptop cool and are easy to adjust with dragon center program. I would highly suggest this computer for anyone looking for a gaming laptop.

so far so good for my first gaming laptop, it runs quite and smooth, the led lights are awesome i can change the patern and the built in custom buttons for shortcuts are awesome, i own msi pc and now a laptop i love their products

This is my first gaming laptop. I have an HP Spectre X360 that I really like but it doesn't have the graphics capabilities to run games well. I researched the internet to find the best gaming laptop for the money. When it came down to value, upgradability and already having top tier hardware, this seemed to fit the bill. I usually buy a new laptop every couple of years or so to fit my needs at the time. Needless to say I have a surplus of laptops around my house. I feel I will not have to buy another one for quite some time now. This computer reboots in less than 20 seconds. It is fantastic. Also, having the dragon center software is nice to keep an eye on the temps and performance. The screen is beautiful and the LEDs are a nice addition. The fans can get a little loud when doing intensive gaming but that is to be expected since it is so compact. Overall, I am very satisfied with this laptop. It has everything I need/want and I am sure I will be using it for years to come.

Just purchased, but so far very happy with the speed and power. While used mostly for work, I do enjoy the light up keyboard settings. The cooling seems very good so far, which is always a problem for good gaming laptops. have tried a few game COD, Raft, Minecraft and very happy with results

This is a gaming laptop which my son is looking for. This is perfect for someone who is looking to have a great gaming experience. It has great graphics though it gets hotter when playing continuously for 1-2 hours. It is a high-speed fan which helps to cool down the laptop.

I'm a college student that have to run various software programs like fusion360, blender, unity, & premiere pro and it all runs perfectly smooth even with zoom meetings in the background. I also tested fortnite and I am able to run 300 fps & unlimited fps. Even though the screen is 240 fps it will still recieve more information which would help it run even smoother for extra overkill. It's also quite stunning to look at.

My older [competing brand] laptop started failing and after some unsatisfactory experiences with their customer service I wanted to try another manufacturer. I opted for MSI after doing a but of reading. It was hard (COVID-19) to find what I was looking for in stock from somewhere shipping so I had to scale back a little. I wanted the 17" option so 15" seems a but small but I'll get used to it. The keyboard doesn't have a number pad which I didn't look for in the hunt which is inconvenient since I use the laptop to both work and play. But both these complaints are 'shopper error' not manufacturer issues. It isn't crazy loaded with bloatware, it performs well, it does run hot but cooler than my older laptop ever did. I haven't messed much with battery life yet but streamed a movie last night and it could do the whole movie unplugged. I am a pretty low intensity gamer and it does all I want a max settings well (lately Civ VI and BATTLETECH) with only modest heat and fan noise.

Weak hinges. I barley use this laptop. It just sits, closed on my desk. I am finally able to begin using it and I am doing taxes for a few hours. I go to close the screen and hear a crunch and the hinge pops out and begins to break as I am closing it. I thought I must have closed it with something sitting on the keyboard or something but no... it just snapped for no apparent reason and I look it up and there are hundreds of people it has happened to. I am so upset. It was like 2k. The most expensive think I own next to my car and now what do I do?

I've owned this laptop only a few weeks now and I must say as long as i have no issues in the future the laptop is flawless. Yes it is as beautiful in person as you can imagine it is a head turner everywhere I go and is BLAZING fast I am now playing COD online Amazing.

Runs very hot and loud but if you can get over that it runs everything else perfectly

Awesome laptop. Bought for video projects on the go when I don't have access to my desktop. Awesome specs, solid feel with a nice keyboard, handling everything I'm throwing at it without hesitation. Overall, I'm really pleased and think it was a worthwhile purchase.

Great computer for school work. It is much cheaper than the Mac computers that offer slower processors. The only issue would be its weight and bulkiness that makes it hard to make it portable. The fans can be loud but you get used to them with time.

This laptop exceeded my expectations. I knew it would be a good machine just based off the specs, but so far it has handled every game I've thrown at it, and most of the time without the addition of a cooling pad. The screen is crisp and clear, and the 240Hz display is amazing. I haven't seen any thermal throttling so far, but I think with the addition of a cooling pad, that probably wouldn't happen anyway. I also have been looking at a new desktop at some point, and with graphics cards so hard to come by these days, this laptop will actually work just fine as a replacement. The only thing I miss is a number pad, but I knew that going into the purchase, and mostly use an external keyboard now. Some people may balk a little at the price of the machine, but I feel it is very much worth every penny, since it already has 32 gigs memory.
