I’ve been using for a year! Is very good pc gaming, I played many games in the max graphics setting, and didn’t gave me any problem

I bought this with the credit I got from returning a laptop I bought broken. It is very powerful and the keyboard is bearable (I use a mechanical keyboard regularly). The rgb is a little annoying, but it can be turned off through software that is honestly a little buggy. The Plexiglas on the bottom for the aura feels really nice though. Fans ship a little loud, but silent mode can be turned on in a classroom or somewhere when you don't want them heard and it is just fine. If the software bugs are fixed, this machine will be darn near perfect because of just how customizable things are.

Amazing laptop! Everything works smoothly, the display is great, I don’t get tired of typing with the keyboard, and the battery life is absolutely impressive.

Excellent gaming laptop! I play games for hours at a time and have zero issues with its speed, heat, noise, graphics. Overall best bang for the buck.

Great laptop for the price can play cyberpunk 2077 on max setting just fine!!!! Gets a little hot but that is with any laptop great battery as well

This computer was the next best option after a series of exchanges for a laptop that can process heavy animation. It is upgradable to max out its RAM at 64GB so am looking forward to that upgrade. Still experiencing multiple daily crashes in After Effects yet will still keep the review at 5 stars as this is the best currently available option at Best Buy for what I do and will probably crash less once I have installed the full 64GB of ram. The physical edges of this model are sharp, but that does not effect the performance.

I'm torn. I've returned one already bc the CPU fan was broken & the charging port had a bad connection... so i got another, all good right? wrong, the cpu fan on this one is crazy, runs 2000rpm slower & has a terrible scraping noise & is kicking off more heat than my cpu itself. This computer is a beast, but what's the point when the build quality is so poor? I'm going to return this again & see how it goes. But if the same fan has a problem again, i'm just getting my money back. Other than the wonky fans and poor component quality, the computer itself is pretty amazing. Would like to give a 5 start,but since MSI puts dirt cheap fans in their computers, i don't have my hopes up.

I had originally bought the MSI G66 Stealth which was beautiful and I loved the facial recognition security feature, but it had a sound card issue so I returned it and upgraded for this model. While it doesn't have the Hello Face software, the rest of the laptop is beautiful. It's not too heavy, the keyboard has a great feel and the fans are much more quiet than the GS66 Stealth. As with most Windows 10 laptops, set up is a breeze. Out of the box and online took me less than 20 minutes. I had to download my games, game clients, etc. but that was pretty quick as well. As for gaming, I've only had this laptop for a couple of weeks. Minecraft is the main game I play on PC and so far I have not been disappointed. The FPS and screen refresh rate makes gameplay smooth and vibrant. I use an Xbox controller which plugs right in and works exactly as it should. I've played a little Destiny 2 which looks amazing as well, and the depth of field almost feels 3D when you're playing. Sound quality on the laptop is average, but when connected to my tv via HDMI it's perfect. My only "cons" are the charging cable plug in is in the back of the laptop as is the HDMI and ethernet ports. I prefer side ports for ease of access. Where the GS66 Stealth was a fingerprint magnet, the GE66 Raider is not. It has a sleek, flat aluminum/metallic lid which doesn't seem to attract fingerprints and is easy to wipe down. The keyboard feels a little more compact than the GS66 Stealth, but the SteelSeries keyboard has great feel and responsiveness, plus the RGB color selection is really fun! It took me a little while to figure out how to keep the lighting stable instead of strobe-like but once I figured that out, I really liked the ability to change the keys color to coincide with my preferred hot key selection, etc. You can't go wrong the GeForce RTX2070 Super graphics card. If you're looking forward to playing RTX enabled games like Minecraft, this is the graphics card you want. My fans kicked in not long into game play on the MC RTX beta, but as I stated, they're not overly intrusive. The ray tracing, color, 3D appearance and pretty much everything else about RTX was everything I'd hoped for. Overall, this is a really good gaming laptop for people who like to take their gaming device with them and it's an amazing price for the specs. MSI makes their laptops expandable which is another bonus, so if I decide to upgrade to 64GB Memory, I won't have to upgrade to a new laptop. As is, the 32GB handles my gaming needs just fine.

Best laptop I have ever had! It is my first gaming laptop, and I am very impressed. It works even better than other gaming laptops I have seen my friends use. It turns on very fast, it opens programs very fast, and it never overheats. There are a lot of fans, and they do get loud sometimes, but it is a pleasant air sound as opposed to the grating sounds of other laptops and computers. The color are gorgeous, I can run every game I have on max settings, while recording, and everything runs unbelievably smoothly. 10/10 laptop, would recommend to anyone who can afford it.

This Laptop is my dream machine. And the value and price you get no where except at Best buy. Very fast, smooth and making my life very easy.!

Despite only having it for one day, I can already tell this laptop is very good. There is so much to customize on it and tons of different configurations you can adjust to get the most out of the built in hardware. I tried to test it's limits with BDO on maximum graphics on a 4k monitor and I was very impressed with how much better I can see the detail compared to the other pc I had and I ran the game without dropping any frames. Truly an insane laptop for its price would recommend to anyone that enjoys multi-tasking, high end games or just looking for an amazing laptop.

Had this for about a week now. Got it on Black Friday with a huge discount. Even at normal price this thing is worth it. So fast, Overwatch at max, Minecraft with Ray Tracing maxed, Call of Duty max, Skyrim modded and all settings max, not even a hint of lag or blur in screen. Best machine I’ve owned. The color schemes you can do with keyboard and light bar are beyond anything I’ve done before. It’s just beautiful. Buy This!!

Bought this to replace a typical business computer. It is an absolute beast. I am on video almost all day every day, and the previous brand new PC could not handle it. Got too hot, laggged, mic got weird and clippy and garbled (I think because of heat). Zero issues like that with this computer. I am not a gamer and do not use it for gaming. I can tell you that it is an awesome and the most performant laptop I've ever had.

My son loves it. No complaints so far. From what I’ve seen, great graphics and super fast. Time will tell as I am not a windows guy.

Great gaming laptop. Not full of bloatware like a few computers I've gotten in the past. The Steel series lights MSI uses are kind of janky. Could be better. The screen is butter smooth. It's only a 1080P, but with the 240Hz its a great combo. Plenty of ports for all the extras. The fans do get kind of loud as you'd expect on the gaming laptop. I wear head phones most of the time so I don't notice. Still has a web cam, but not the best looking. Not a deal breaker for me. Build quality is great. Feels very sturdy.

Recently my computer of over a decade got the blue screen of death so I looked for a replacement. I had two brands in mind but when I went to the store I saw this MSI and it was just overall better for the same price that I was going for with the others. It has twice the storage, memory, and refresh rate from the one I had come there to look at. Not to mention a better graphics card, all for the same price. You definitely get more bang for your buck with this MSI. Excited to experience hopefully many years with this new laptop!

runs the games smooth like a babies bottom! does run loud but thats to be expected when packing all that performance in such a small body.

I'm enjoying the graphics and game play, very smooth experience. Fast speeds and beautiful aurora lighting. Definitely worth the price.

I have had this laptop for a little over a month and love it. Start-up is fast, and it handles gaming (e.g. Sea of Thieves, Fortnite) at VERY high FPS. The RGB lighting is cool and easy to customize per-button once you figure out how to do it. I wish it had Displayport instead of Mini Displayport, as I now need to get a DP to miniDP cable to use with my LG Monitor. As many have noted, the fan is LOUD. It is not an issue with headphones, but annoying to others in the room when burning the midnight oil.
