I spent some time looking for my apple computer and was excited to pick up this gaming laptop. This gets warm,and the fan can be loud at times, however if you wear headphones this shouldn't be too much of an issue. As for ease of use... I find myself struggling a bit to find my footing, but I am coming from an apple. I feel as though any one else would have not trouble. Also its the perfect machine for those who want control of their configuration. con: The lights are ok... opted to turn them off for the time being. the major issue is with the speakers. not as crisp as I had hoped over all it is a fast and beautiful machine both inside and out. haven't noticed any issues with the games I play. Plus its VR ready if you are in to that.

The light bar was a nice surprise as well as the 240hz screen that was included. So far so good. Seems really fast and reliable. Out of the box, it was a cinch to get going. Super excited about this purchase

Just got this in today and it was a breeze to setup. Already have the GS65 so this was familiar to me. Graphics test so far are great, it runs games at really high frames even on an external ultrawide monitor.

Handles every game I’ve tried on high settings with no stutters. Screen resolution is very good. As with any gaming laptop, it gets warm, I recommend getting a cooling pad of some sort to help with the heat.

Best Buy’s delivery is terrible. You can’t trust any delivery estimate on their web site. This laptop has insufficient cooling for high frame rate game play. The area above the keyboard below the screen gets to hot to physically touch even when using a supplemental external fan. Otherwise it performs to spec.

So far so good on the new purchase. Screen is large and crystal clear and movement is smooth. I've not been able to bog the processing down even a bit, but I will certainly try. Great for gaming and rendering.

I upgraded from a Lenovo Yoga 8th gen with a GTX 1550 to this - the MSI blows the yoga out of the water. I run an orthodontic design CAD program - I can work up a case in about half the time on this machine.

My previous laptop was a MSI GT70-OND and it lasted me over 6 years! Phenomenal 17" laptop. When it was time to upgrade, it was only natural I searched for another MSI. I needed a 15 inch laptop because its more portable for traveling. This one has met every one of my expectations. Its powerful and compact! It is aesthetically pleasing; it doesnt scream "im a gamer" yet it still looks very sleek. It boots up fast and its ready to take anything i can throw at it. The fans can get a bit noisy, but that just means they are doing their job. The CPU never gets out of heat limits. Thank you Best Buy for having it in stock. Now, lets get some more in stock for the rest of my fellow Best Buy shoppers;)

Have had this for a month, no problems at all and its impressive. A bit heavy and thick but I knew that going in. The power supply is a 14 amp monster take that into account when buying a case.

Bought this laptop for the 2070 Super, but didn't think about HDR. I have an LG OLED TV I connect to via HDMI, and turning on HDR in Windows just works! I also didn't really care about the LEDs across the front, but after having them on for a while I quite like the light show! Overall the laptop has been rock solid after a few days. I've played all my usual games, updated windows to the latest feature release, etc. All have worked without any concern. For the games, I've only tested on a few, but mostly I can set the video to Ultra settings. I did need to turn down some of the settings (can't remember which ones) in Metro Exodus, but left RTX at highest settings. Looks good. I chose MSI because I intend to overclock the GPU, but haven't gotten that far yet. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because I didn't see a tool to do this.

This does everything I wanted it to. It isn’t overly loud and plays the games my son and friends like without problems. Not sure if it helps but one of the main games they play is Fortnite.

This laptop is a beast. I'm a freelance video editor and this bad boy is lightening fast. The colors are sharp, motion graphics load in an instant. It looks great and is fun to work on.

Great graphics! I believe this is meant for the serious gamer. Many adjustable features for graphics, sound, and more. Honestly, a bit over for a novice who'd rather just run with what's done.

This laptop is a SERIOUS contender with the traditional tower! I’ve owned from I buy power and Alienware, I’ve also built my own and this thing COMPETES! I love it so far, definitely recommend!

I don't have space in my home so a gaming laptop is a great and funcional option to play whatever you want and It's easy to use of course and so happy to have one. Performance is great!

I like this gaming laptop. Have it for over 4 months now. It is an absolute beast. I take this every I go and have not had any hiccups despite of MSI's controversial dedicated software. Pros: Smooth gaming experience Beautiful and color accurate display Speakers are decent A wide array of RBG (which you can turn off) Good build quality Cons: Despite of being a 99 watt battery, wish it could run longer. Runs hot and loud fans (nothing out of the ordinary) Thunderbolt 3 is absent MSI customer support could be better, hard to reach an actual representative. I am sure I am missing out a few more goodies, but I have no regrets on my purchase thus far.

Purchased this laptop on a Open Box deal, Came home to discover I was given the wrong charger. Returned to the store, and after speaking with Shimin, we discovered I actually had the wrong laptop. Ended up having to do a return as the correct laptop couldn't be located. Shimin promised me a call by 3:30 PM the next day which I did recieve. And thanks to her and the store manager Dave's help we finally found the correct laptop, with charger and I was able to leave happy with my purchase. I highly recommend, and will continue to shop this store and with Shimin for all my future tech needs.

Super for gaming. Ample memory, Speedy. Runs cooler then past Raiders i have owned Best laptop I owned t ok dTe.. Just wish it had a number pad. Otherwise Fantastic for all my needs

This us a great gaming laptop. Make sure you buy a really good laptop cooling pad. Do not be cheap on this as it gets very hot. I am also having issues with it dropping frame rates like crazy. It will go from 115fps to 3fps and then back up. Sometimes this happens alot and other times not so much.
