What an improvement to my previous computer. I am a professional artist and typically run multiple adobe programs at once and spend a good chunk of my time waiting for videos to render. This computer took render times that would normally take an hour on my old laptop and slashed it to a fraction of that time. It handles everything at lightspeed and on top of that, the design is really gorgeous. The LED bar on front never fails to impress my friends, along with the ladies!

This incredible mini-rig packs a ton of punch in such a small frame. I've thrown everything I have at it and still she purees. Heavy memory intensive illustration apps; massive open-world games and monstrous game engines without even a blink. As someone that was previously rooted by their massive tower, it's refreshing to have a mini-cannon waiting in the wings whenever the urge to create presents itself. Worth every penny!

I ordered this laptop based on my past experiences with MSI as a brand with both laptops and components. I must say that I am very pleased. Laptop runs every game I've thrown at it on max settings with no problem and stays much cooler/quieter than my previous laptops. This thing looks and feels great and has so far been a pleasure to use! Would I recommend this to a friend? YES, and I already have!

I just bought the MSI GE66 Raider, and I mean just a few hours ago. I finally got fed up with the old mac I've been using, they aren't really good for gaming in my opinion. First impressions are really good. The screen is great for anything I'm going to use it for, which is school, work and gaming. The hardware in this laptop is top notch, but I haven't really took it for a test drive yet. Just getting everything set up, and connecting my school stuff, its running like a champ though. The build quality feels great to me as well. The response of the track pad and key board are very nice in my opinion. I've never had a laptop with RBG before, and it wasn't a selling point for me, but none the less it is a cool feature. The price was more then I planed to spend when I originally decided to upgrade to a new laptop, but once I started looking at what was out there and getting my hands on some of the other models, I decided that I would spend a bit more to get something that I thought looked really nice, had specs that would stand up to time better and that would run at or close to the high end of performance. As a side note, in the MSI box there is a slip of paper that says review and receive. If you put up a review about the laptop on the site of where you bought it, and follow the rest of the instructions, MSI will send you a gaming headset. I don't have a clue on the quality, but it is free, so that's cool.

I am ecstatic and very happy with the MSI GE66 Raider. The computer has excellent graphics as well as beautiful RGB lights. The on the machine parts are put together and you can feel the excellent quality. I would recommend the product to anyone who is a gamer or wants a viable laptop.

This computer is not only fast and responsive but light and portable. The design is sleek and slim compared to competitors who have a more bulky build. I Have a couple of friends with Alienware computers who switched over, this computer gives you way more than what you pay for! Hands down I am extremely impressed. If you purchase I am sure you will be too!

I have yet to play games on this laptop, but just setting it up I realized how insanely fast this is. The specs are insane so I bet gaming will be amazing, I just hope the battery life is somewhat reasonable. The build quality is fantastic and the screen looks great for it being 1080p. The 240hz is great as expected, coming from a desktop with similar specs to this laptop. Hopefully all is well in the long run, but so far this looks promising and I am not disappointed.

The graphics are absolutely amazing and the sound is just as great. I love the lights on the keyboard, and how easy it is to navigate. Overall I am extremely satisfied with this laptop and I 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable laptop that can run various programs flawlessly!

As a current student going into Game Programming, this laptop was definitely a good purchase. -The size is perfect, small enough to make it lightweight and easy to take around but a screen size large enough to satisfy gaming and any media -The battery life is also much better than other alternatives, and the system gives you different modes depending on your scenario. (Extreme Performance, Balanced, Silent, Super Battery and then a custom option) -Fans are efficient and for the most part silent and are only slightly louder with cooler boost enabled. -Sufficient ports and ideal port placement for the charger and hdmi port (in the back of the device) -The RGB keyboard and light strip at the bottom of the device are very aesthetically pleasing and fun to customize. Overall a good device and has been running smoothly, would definitely recommend to anyone since its such a simple and finished device and still gives the option for some pretty good upgrades.

So. I got this. Today. first thing I did to test it was run Minecraft while loading 250 chunks at once, steady 50 frames. (that's good by the way). sure the fans are kind of loud but I barley notice them. 10/10 recommend for gaming and casual use.

I'm no gamer, but I am married to one. My husband purchased this laptop as an upgrade to his 3 year old Alienware laptop. This one has beefier specs than the last one, is lighter, and though it has a smaller screen, this laptop still is an upgrade on all fronts. He has commented the better portability of this MSI versus the Alienware meaning that it would be great for travel, but it still does great when travelling around the house...he has gamed from the couch and from bed, something he was not able to do before. He also ran a game that he couldn't before, which would make any gamer happy. The only downside I can see is how loud the fans get once they come on, but that's only on occasion. Read the reviews, watch some video reviews and you'll see that this laptop will hold up against most.

Amazing laptop for gaming and for work. Battery life is way better thanks to the 99.9 WHr battery. I am able to get around 5+ hours of battery life for just normal web browsing (*fps set to 60). Played COD warzone at max settings and the cpu did get hot (Upper 80s / Low 90s). But honestly it is a gaming laptop... the temperatures are going to get hot. Rocket league was buttery smooth and cpu temps were in the mid 60s at max settings. I really couldn't ask for anything better. Get it before it goes out of stock!

Let me start with a note that I am not a gamer. I use this laptop primarily for viewing and reviewing medical images, such as CT, MRI, and EEG scans. The picture is clear, and the visual experience is superb. All small details I need to examine are cristal clear. Although these images are large, this laptop is processing them like they are text documents, super fast. It's loaded with various bells and whistles that I will not pretend to understand. It has plenty of storage space and working memory. I love the light bar at the base and lighted keyboard. The only reason I gave four stars is that after a couple of weeks of use, I noticed the keyboard is not lit and had some difficulties in getting it back on. I had to reset it all to initial settings to get it back. Other than that, I love this little beast and would recommend it to all that need fast processing unit with superb visuals.

This is my first gaming laptop and so far, it's really awesome. I was using a surface book for playing games and doing photo editing; I can't wait to try that out on this machine. The 240Hz display really is something you have to see to believe. The ridiculous smoothness gives even mundane tasks like web browsing an extra good feel. The components in the computer are a great value for the price of the machine, as well. This is especially true for the Killer network card and the Nvidia GPU. It's excellent to have some proper cooling (read: blowers) for the powerful GPU this machine packs. I also like the design of the case and the rgb lightbar/keyboard. The machines overall aesthetic is great.

Amazing laptop! Specs, graphics, speed is amazing. I have had several gaming laptops and this one is the best one so far.

This computer is very fast and powerful. It runs any game I have thrown at it with ease. Love the how upgrade options avaible with this laptop.

From what I've used of the laptop so far, it runs extremely smoothly, lots and lots of color customizations for the lighting, and the ability to adjust the amount of clocking your CPU can do using the built in apps are very helpful. The fan is a little loud when it kicks in, but with headphones, it's not that bad. The only real negative I can find with my purchase is that the MSI website, when I tried to register my laptop, says that the S/N is wrong or some type of error comes up and says the website can't complete the registration.

Worked great for 2 years before the screen went black. Still works great when attached to a separate screen.
