BESTBUY did great its not their fault...

Workable Graphics card but Unrefined

MSI does not provide drivers for this card, you are to use the stock NVidia drivers. These drivers do NOT properly control the fan speeds. The Fans are either on or off. When running, the fans howl loudly, to the point of distraction. After quitting a game, the fans will NOT slow down until the computer is shut off! Downloaded the various tuner applications for this card, and nothing solved this issue. I would not recommend!

Solid Upgrade

The case presented a tight fit for this card, and I did need to upgrade my power supply, but it was worth it. The lights on this card are pretty cool too. Even though my case doesn't show it off the way I would like, it's still visible through the side vent. Finally, I was able to price match this card to newegg. Better to buy it in store, than wait for shipping!

$300 Paper Weight
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this card as an upgrade from an AMD Rx 560, sadly when I installed it I could not get my computer to boot normally. I tried for about a day and a half now to get it to work. I eventually got it to the Ubuntu desktop but it was stuck at a resolution of about 480, and after multiple attempts at fixing the problem and too much eyestrain, I have to say I would not recommend this card for an Ubuntu based system
