Works great but the touchpad is horrible whoever designed it did a terrible job. Also im mostly mad at bestbuy because i did this as a pay4 transaction and it charged me the full amount. Best buy sucks. Dont trust the scammy systems they use.

Amazing laptop, horrible power adapter

This laptop performs really great. It's amazing with running AAA games with normal or even high graphics (depending on the game's optimization). It also works really great for coding or video games creation. The only drawback that I have is that I had to go through 2 power adapters in two years of owning it. The first power adapter went and I still had it under warranty so MSI replaced it. However the second power adapter just recently stopped working leaving the laptop useless until I can get a new one. Overall I really loved this laptop but the power adapter problems is a sever drawback.

At $850, you're getting what you're payinf for

Starting off, I think the laptop is great at $850, and okay at $1100
The pc contains an rtx 3060, the 75 watt variant, which, compared to other varients, it's okay. It also has the i5-10500H, a pretty decent cpu, 8gb of ram, which needs to be upgraded, and 512gb of storage, okay for some.
I think the battery absolutely sucks, I was using it off of the battery for a little bit, and within, to which I believe 20-30 minutes, the battery was around 40%.
The laptop runs fairly cool, running val on low(just because I like it that way) gets around 70°C. It is pretty loud, like I said. The ram amount is pretty small; I get a lot of alerts saying that val, GTA V, etc. Is taking up all my ram, along with discord on the side.
Apparently to others, the pc's adobe color, or whatever, and the brightness is low, but in my bright environments inside my home, it is fairly bright, and the color is nice. Take my review with a grain of salt, as this is my first actual "gaming" pc.
Overall, its pretty good if you arent going to use it without the charger.

Mine arrived dead on arrival with some sort of power error. The return through best buy were pretty painless at least.

Good laptop, didn’t use for gaming all that much, but for school instead. Main complaint is the sound, the fan I guess, loud sometimes. Think I would rather get something else if I had the option.

3060 mobile for $850 is the real deal!

The i5 is kind of meh, but the 3060 makes up for it. NOTE* this mobile version of the 3060 only comes with 6 GB of VRAM, compare to 12 GB for the discrete card. Nvidia glosses over this fact in the white papers. Fan is quiet with adequate ventilation underneath even when it hits 71C. I'm comparing fans/cooling to the Asus Tuf A15 that has a 1660ti, which acts like it's on fire when the temp hits 68C (probably from the poor inbound ventilation underneath) For curious miners: 37M/hs @55W with mem at +600. Core down to 780. It can hit 38, but wattage creeps fast to 75W with minimal gains. Really hard to pass this up when on sale for $850. FYI: glowing red keyboard can be turned off (FN key + down arrow).
