Good laptop. The design really got me at first and made me buy it. But the performance is not so bad either. Thinner laptops still have limitations though naturally. If you play games for a long period of time everyday, if you are super heavy gamer, just get a desktop or a console. Laptops will degrade fast.

This was an upgrade from my 2016 GS75 17" Laptop. What a pleasant surprise. This device is tough, well designed, sleek and the best value for money in it's class.... Overall great portable gaming laptop. Only down side is that it gets hot rather quickly and the fans can be somewhat loud.

So, I did my research to get my very first gaming laptop since they would be powerful enough to let me browse multiple tabs online while watching videos, listening to music, oh and animate in 3D and 2D. My primary goal was efficiency and great display. This laptop has a wonderful display. So beautiful, the colors are vivid and it's with a wide view, matte, ips panel screen. Lots of memory and it's very fast. HOWEVER, within 3 days of using the laptop and customizing it to my liking, the wifi drops. As in, the laptop wouldn't detect any networks available to connect to. So I did ny research, did a network drive update, uninstalled, re-installed, contacted msi support, did what they suggested to me, but each time I was able to reconnect, it was drop again within an hour. I got so frustrated with the wifi dropping, that I decided to return it to exchange for a previous laptop brand I once had. So if you plan on buying and using a usb wifi adapter then buy this laptop (beware of HEAT) or if you really want to be stuck near the modem with an ethernet cable, then by all means. BUT the wifi drive card thing is sooo unstable.

Overall very slik and nice design. Feels very smooth to type with at least for me. As well as a nice large screen.

Have had this now for a few weeks and it has performed to what I needed it to do. I was not sure about purchasing a gamer laptop but after talking to the salesman at Best Buy it helped me make my decision. One down side is the exterior metal shows finger prints and grease marks from hands I am alway wiping it off since I like a clean looking computer.

Slim design and not too heavy. Great for gaming on the go.

I went for this model because I am enrolling in an engineering program in college and needed a computer with powerful specs to run complex engineering software smoothly. Also, I do enjoy some gaming on the side. It has worked beautifully for me, fully capable of running games like Rainbow 6 Siege with stunning display. 10/10 would recommend.

Pros Top of the line specs with an incredible discounted price. The screen is spectacular for Full HD resolution. The keyboard feels soft and clicky at the same time. You will notice a big difference from when using 60Hz screens. Cons The laptop is a fingerprint magnet. I tried to clean it frequently but some marks stay on.

Bought this MSI GS-65 Stealth machine for my daughter who is a student at UW. She absolutely loves it. This will be able to handle any engineering application she decides to install and it met all of the requirements we were looking for in a workhorse laptop and will give her many years of use. Overall I highly recommend this laptop!

Overall I'm pretty happy with this laptop, but ever since the first time I turned it on about 3 weeks ago, it makes a clicking noise that only stops if I max out the fans, which I have to do to keep the machine cool. Keyboard gets pretty warm to the touch even with the fans maxed, which didn't happen with the ASUS ROG I had running the same settings. Not sure what that clicking sound is, but I'm pretty sure it isn't supposed to be doing that. Awaiting a response from support, so we'll see, but I can't give a higher review considering the annoying noise and apparent cooling issue. GPU and CPU never get above 65-70 C, but still.... what's up with that noise?

I am very pleased with this laptop. Overall the screen display is great. Battery life is great and speed is phenomenal. I really enjoyed that I didnt have to change the screen refresh rate it was already set to the maximum setting. The backlight keyboard was a huge plus and I love that it is fully customizable.

Sleek and classy design, feel in the hand is great. The keys are still sharp and responsive, not quite full mechanical but amazing no less. The boot up time from sleep is amazing, and fans are reasonably quiet at full speed. Definitely would recommend

I am a grad student who was looking to upgrade from my Lenovo T450s. Although I love my Lenovo, it simply does not have the power to effectively run SQL or RapidMiner. This laptop has been a lifesaver for processing all of my data and assignments. It speeds through processing everything and has yet to get stuck or slow down. The plus being that it is possible to upgrade the RAM without voiding the warranty is perfection! This is a fantastic laptop which can handle whatever you throw at it. P.S. it was able to run RapidMiner, Tableau, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe at the same time with no issue.
